Chapter 390: All the Drugs (1/2)

”What is it you want?” Virsair stubbornly asked but appeared ready to refuse even if his life depended on it.

”That spiral ring on your finger that holds all your pills,” said Lilith crossing her arms, ”I want them all... all the drugs!”

”The hell is wrong with this generation? Is that what divine pills are called now? I will give you cultivation pills, or are you looking for something... more?”

Why does it feel like I'm making a drug deal? Do drug cartels exist here, or are the sects doing the same?

”What you got?” Lilith shamelessly asked, grinning from ear to ear, ”Cultivation pills and potions are nice, but you got any psychedelics or something to calm the mind and body?”

”Like Rivane? The Celestial Palace has a monopoly over that. Not even I dare to sell it outside the Celestrial Outreach, but I do have—”

”I want them all?” Lilith shouted before she could even get a picture as to what she was asking for as if this was normal, yet as I glanced around at the masses watching with an odd gleam, I knew it was not. This girl is crazy!

”What are you offering?” Virsair asked, appearing a little conflicted. It was probably his first time dealing like this.

”My identity, or we can help get you a sample of blood from this silver dragon.”

”Both for divine level pills,” He said with a lustful grin, ”Bring me a blood sample or its head, and I will apply divinity to these pills.”

”Why don't you kill it then?” I inquired, not understanding what was stopping him from acting himself.

”It was to find a disciple or at least a helpful cultivator who could gather ingredients all around Alos for me. Using sects can be dangerous; Plus, it's quite frowned upon for a god-like myself to hunt such weak dragons like this.”

Scrunching my brow at the foolish reason, I was about to reply when Lilith's voice resounded, ”Gods tend not to be very practical. They live so long they have these games to relieve boredom. It's quite normal for them to do things like this.”

Humming in response, Lilith simply nodded, raising her hands while Virsair pulled a ring out of space. Placing it into her hands, his body suddenly staggered as Lilith qi touched Virsair's saggy flesh.

Staring at her in shock, he trembled, taking a step back, ”I-I-I.”

”We wish for privacy, and no one knows we are here. I would hope you will not report this,” Lilith informed, handing me the ring with a straight face, ”As for his Identity, well, let's just say it will remain a mystery.”

”What of your to-be husband? There were rumors.”

”That fucker? I have already dealt with him,” I informed with a sinful smile that didn't quite reach my eyes, ”Soulbender or not, he did not last long.”

Widening his eyes, Virsair trembled, ”You didn't!”

”He is still alive, but his mind all but gone. He is nothing more than a simpleton now. Are you telling me that—”
