The members of the Chinese chess club stayed for dinner after Jiang Jiankang's enthusiastic invitation.

Liu Qian stared at the empty plates after dinner. She was explicitly staring at the one that used to have a piece of massive braised meat in it but was now emptied to the point of not even having a drop of the braising liquid left.

Liu Qian said as tears filled her eyes. ”I'm coming here for food every day when I'm rich.”

What a great ambition…

Liu Qian completely let herself go that night, consuming a total of six bowls of rice.

”Qianqian, do you usually eat this much at school too?” He Jiarou asked as she massaged her belly. She couldn't control herself earlier either and ate half a bowl more of rice than she usually did. Her stomach was too stuffed at that moment for her to move.

Liu Qian shook her head. ”Nope, I usually only eat four bowls of rice per meal.”

”…”

Everyone stared at Liu Qian with their widened eyes.

”That's wonderful!” Jiang Jiankang exclaimed happily.

”This girl is not bad,” Wang Xiulian said as she scanned Liu Qian. ”She's kind, has a great appetite, but still has a great figure too.”

”?”

Jiang Feng looked at his mother, wondering why her words sounded familiar.

After dinner, the members made sure of every person's role in the recruitment week that was happening in three days before leaving.

”Dad, has Uncle Jianguo been busy recently?” Jian Feng asked as he went and got a bag of flour from the storeroom.

”Not at all. He didn't even have a single customer for the past two months,” Jiang Jiankang said, stabbing Jiang Jianguo in the back like any good sibling would.

Jiang Feng nodded and called his uncle.

”Xiao Feng? What's wrong? It's rare for you to call me,” Jiang Jianguo answered as noises from the television could be heard from the background.

Judging by the crying and screaming from the background noise, Jiang Feng guessed that his aunt was watching her favorite drama.

”How's your business recently?” Jiang Feng asked.

”Pretty good, I would say. People have been coming over because of my skill,” Jiang Jianguo boasted.

”…” Jiang Feng saw through the lie immediately and said. ”Well, since you're busy, I'll go ask Uncle Jiandang for help when grandpa comes next week.”

”No, wait! I'm not busy at all! There's no way I'm going to be busy when your grandpa is coming. Just let him stay at my place,” Jiang Jianguo blurted as soon as he heard his father was planning to visit A City.
