Blue walked down the corridor, her expression was pure blank, her gaze looked distance, as her mind reeled with the information that she just heard from Meredith.

She knew this day would come, that Alpha Xerxes's obsession to make her a luna of this pack was unavoidable issue, but when she had to face it head on and the topic would be a discussion soon, Blue felt her head was spinning with that fact.

Let alone with the fact that Meredith told her before she walked out of the room.

”Emmet is my mate,” she admitted it to her, her teary eyes looked at Blue with the sense of helplessness, she was almost unable to speak the next words to her when she pleaded. ”Please, Zuri, I can't see you with him… please leave this pack…”

Meredith did not only want Blue to leave the pack because she was worried about her safety and well being, but no matter what the odds situation that they were in, the two of them were still a mate.

Meredith didn't harbor ill intention toward Blue, but the stupid mate bond that bonded them together was something significant that she couldn't ignore completely.

”How long have you known about this?” Blue had asked her before she walked out of her room.

”Since I turned eighteen.” It meant it was two years ago. It was insane for Emmet to say nothing about her and for Meredith to hold back her own feeling.

”I will take care of it.”

That was the only answer that Blue could give to Meredith, though she didn't know how to handle this situation, but at least Meredith knew how much she hated the idea of being the luna of this pack, especially to be Emmet's mate, that was insane and to think about it alone made her felt sick on the stomach.

”Come in.” Alpha Xerxes's voice travelled from behind the door when Blue knocked on it. Her step was very heavy, or was it her heart? She couldn't see the different.

Inside the room, there were Alpha Xerxes, Emmet and Liam.

The three of them had their own opinion and thought regarding the issue that they would talk about and all of their thought showed vividly on their expression.

”Sit,” Alpha Xerxer told Blue, he nodded at the sofa opposite from him, next to Liam.

Blue was slightly glad that she sat down next to Lima instead of his bastard brother, thus she walked around the table and put her ass on the green lime sofa, which the color she found so tacky.

”I don't want to beat around the bush in this matter, since you have already known about this…” However, before Alpha Xerxes could continue his explanation, Blue had cut him off.
