As his consciousness began to s.h.i.+ft, dark clouds gathered in the sky and rained down a storm of black inky liquid that drenched the bodies of the fleeing b.u.t.terflies.

Ma.s.sive holes began to appear in their wings as they were eroded away.

He pulled out the Verdant Emperor Saber and charged at the flightless Blight b.u.t.terflies, immediately slas.h.i.+ng through the ones within reach.

For a thousand meters, the ground was littered with the bodies of those b.u.t.terflies and not far away was the home base of these creatures.

Their nest!
