The Dusan Basin was an insanely huge place. Due to a severe lack of landmarks in the area, the place was roughly divided into many different regions, with each region given a number. And right now, there was a huge den of poisonous monsters appearing in the thirteenth region!

These b.u.t.terflies were not powerful creatures. However, the pollen that their wings carried with them was highly poisonous to other creatures. To add more, these pollens were also potent hallucinogens.

“This place is quite dangerous!” Many frowned after hearing where the place was.

“Yea, I don’t think I can handle this region too!”

“Just what kind of people are they recruiting for this task? No one can handle this place!”

As he watched everyone discussing the matter at hand, Quong Po’s face turned grimmer by the second. He did not want to waste too much time here—in fact, waiting for three minutes was already reaching the limits of his patience.

Thus, he announced, “I will tag along. But know this! I don’t want some wimps who only know to cower away in battle in this mission. I want proper men who can complete this mission with me! If you’re coming, you better be an ability user. Why do you think I’m offering so much money for this, huh?”

After hearing what he had to say, everyone finally understood why the rewards for this mission were so great.

“Heh, General Quong! Don’t you worry. I’m a wood-type ability user. Although I’m not too much of an outdoor fighter, I’m quite good at locating people.”

A man stepped out from the crowd and volunteered.

“That’s Yuan Xiaoguang! Hmm, this guy’s good!”

“Hey, maybe we should try out this mission too! There’s like 100 men here. So, there’s bound to be someone who we could work well together!”

“Yeah, let’s do it!”

As Yuan Xiaoguang joined in the party, the others started to tap on their communicator to join in the mission too.

Quong Po took a good look at Yuan Xiaoguang and said, “If we can find my daughter, I’ll double your rewards.”

Everyone was shocked after hearing this.

Quong Po’s daughter was missing?

Qin Feng frowned as he saw many’s interest was piqued in joining the party, seemingly not bothered by the dangers ahead.

The thirteenth region was a perilous place. Even Qin Feng himself did not want to step into that place for training. And Quong Po wanted to bring over one hundred C-tiers into that place? Who would be held responsible if anything went wrong?

Quong Po was too reckless!

Still, if he were to try to stop them, there was no way they would listen too! After all, Qin Feng was just one C-tier. There was very little one could do alone to change the course of action when the majority had made up their minds.

Thus, after giving it a thought, Qin Feng too decided to join in. Well, it would not hurt to do a good deed once in a while!

“Okay!” Bai Li quickly registered to join the mission too. As she finished fiddling with her communicator, three minutes had pa.s.sed. Even though not all one hundred men had joined in the party, there were more than half of them joining—about seventy eight men.

“Let’s head out!” Quong Po did not wait any longer and led the party out of the lobby.

As they stepped into the plaza outside, the C-tiers summoned their transports one by one. In less than a minute, over seventy hover tanks appeared in the plaza. Then, they all tailed Quong Po’s hovercraft out of the city.

In just 20 minutes, they had arrived at Dusan Basin. Due to its unique geography, this place was filled with flora and fauna. Of course, other than the wide varieties of plants and trees, there were a lot of venomous insectoids too. Some of these insectoids’ hives even had poisonous cankers nearby too.

This place was indeed dangerous—even more dangerous than the swamps.

As the hover-tank parade flew through the huge gra.s.sland, something appeared to be spooked!

A bright light beamed up from below and enveloped a hover tank.

The hover tank’s energy barrier was penetrated by the green light, cutting the tank in half!
