Having eaten her fill, Little Nine rested for a while before following the teacher to class.

However, after a while, Little Nine couldn't help but doze off. The morning class was not bad, but listening to music and teaching etiquette was rather interesting. However, in the afternoon, this teacher taught her to read. When Little Nine saw the words written on the book, she couldn't help but feel sleepy.

In addition, this teacher was a white-haired old scholar. His voice was calm and steady, and his tone was long. Without a doubt, he was a lullaby. Little Nine soon started to feel drowsy.

There were many children who were just as sleepy as Little Nine in the room. Seeing the teacher holding a book and shaking his head as he read, a boy around four to five years old suddenly stood up and said, ”Teacher, this student wishes to go out of his ways!”

The old teacher frowned and waved his hand. ”Return quickly!”

The boy could not help but smile as he ran out. Little Nine was envious of him, so she stood up and imitated him, ”Teacher, I, I want to be disrespectful too!”

The teacher saw that she was still young and was afraid that she would wet her pants. He quickly waved his hand and said, ”Go on!”

Little Nine winked at Cheng Mingrui proudly and ran out happily while crouching down to avoid the servants waiting outside. She quietly ran to the backyard and was about to pick a pretty flower to play with when she saw a corner of her clothes sticking out from beside the peony bush. Little Nine walked over curiously.

Little Nine saw the boy that came out first squatting among the flowers, stretching out his arms to catch something in the grass. Little Nine couldn't help but to lean her head over to see what was going on.

The boy was startled by Little Nine's sudden appearance. He ran away with his hand shaking the cricket that he had just suppressed. He pushed Little Nine and said, ”It's all your fault for scaring my cricket away!”

Little Nine was pushed to the ground as she angrily said to the boy, ”You stupid can't catch it, hmph!”

The boy rolled up his sleeves angrily and glared at Little Nine. ”You dare to call me stupid?” He raised his fist and was about to hit Little Nine. Little Nine rolled her eyes and shouted, ”Come —”

However, the boy immediately covered her mouth with his hands after she shouted out. Little Nine bit down fiercely and the boy let go of Little Nine with a grunt. Little Nine pushed the boy away and turned her head to spit out a few mouthfuls of air.

Little Nine frowned and made a big face at the boy. Just as the boy thought that Little Nine was going to shout again, he saw Little Nine raise her ears excitedly, ”Listen, there's a cricket calling!”

The boy was stunned and couldn't help but listen carefully. Sure enough, he heard a cricket cry. He immediately looked towards the direction where the sound came from. Little Nine had already stretched out her plump hand and pounced towards the direction of the sound. The boy was stunned for a moment before hurriedly pouncing over as well.

Little Nine and the boy looked at each other, then carefully opened their palms, only to see a figure of Blacky suddenly jumping out from between their fingers.

The two of them could not help but shout in unison, ”Ah, ah, we've run, we've run!”

Little Nine immediately pounced again. She didn't expect to miss the cricket, but instead broke a peony with her foot. The petals of the peony rustled down, looking very beautiful. The boy's face turned unsightly. He looked at the broken peony branches and whispered to Little Nine, ”You broke the flowers. They're very precious. I heard they're the imperial concubine's favorite …”
