Chapter 21 (1/2)
- Suan Ni
In the middle of the clouds, the silhouette of the Green Scaled Eagle trembled. It was inwardly frightened. The Suan Ni unexpectedly had not died yet! They were fighting over its carcass just now, yet how could such a terrifying turn of events occur?!
“Yiya, how is it alive again?” The little guy scratched his head, puzzled.
Hou…..
A world-shaking roar came through the mountain. That Demonic Ape angrily howled. Its wings got torn off while it was still alive, causing it to go mad. Fresh blood was still spilling out from its wounds.
It used its remaining arm to attack, smashing the old beast that shone with golden radiance with its fist. The Suan Ni did not appear to be slowed by its age at all, and with a flash, it instantly reappeared over a hundred meters away.
With a hong sound, the Demonic Ape smashed through the remaining half of the mountain with a godly might that shocked the desolate forest. After hitting only the air, it did not stop. With one leap, it jumped over two hundred meters high. It was going to spread its wings and fly away.
Even though it was angry, it was clear-headed enough to realize it wasn’t the elder Suan Ni’s opponent.
The Suan Ni’s pair of golden eyes were extremely cold. Cloud vapors surged from its entire body like a tsunami. Moreover. it rushed forward like a golden streak of lightning, and an explosion sounded as it struck the back of the Demonic Ape.
Ao hou…
The Demonic ape howled loudly, and its entire body shuddered. Blood blossomed ten feet into the air, and just like before, it once again suffered greatly under the effects of the Suan Ni’s horrifying precious technique. A shining bloody hole emerged on its chest.
The formidable Demonic Ape immediately dropped down. It opened up its bloody mouth, exposing snow white fangs. It charged forward with the single arm it had left, and its entire body lit up with symbols to activate its precious technique.
On the other side, the Mythical Flaming Devil Bull’s entire body was covered in a scarlet fire. Its fur was similar to silky fabric. It also went mad, and its entire body lit up with symbols as well. Its intention was not to fight the Suan Ni to death, but to take advantage of an opening to escape.
However, the Suan Ni was too fearsome. Two beams of light shot out from the depth of its eyes, and then it struck the body of the Mythical Flaming Devil Bull. A thunderous sound rang through the air, inflicting bloody gashes onto its body and causing the symbols around it to dissipate.
Moo….
The thirty meter long scarlet red devil bull became furious. The flames on its body reached the heavens, and its mythical flames were ignited. It rose up, spread open its huge mouth, and released streams of flourishing scarlet red radiance in all directions, causing rocky peaks to turn into magma.
This attack caused endless amounts of vicious birds and ferocious beasts to immediately turn into ashes. They didn’t even have time to release a miserable scream.
The Suan Ni roared, and the golden light rays on its body intensified. Its brilliant magnificence covered the entire mountain region in a sea of gold. Mists surged out, blocking the mythical flames.
In the cloud banks far away, the little guy murmured to himself, “The Suan Ni was only pretending to be dead! It wanted to kill its enemies, so it let the Demonic Ape and Mythical Flaming Devil Bull come here on purpose! It really is smart, smarter than humans.”
Demonic cries rang out, and mythical flames overflowed into the heavens. Mist and lightning interweaved. This area was already completely chaotic. This confrontation between three archaic descendants caused thunderous noise to ring through the air. The entire wasteland was trembling in response.
On the Suan Ni, Mythical Flaming Devil Bull and the Ape King’s bodies, mysterious patterns interweaved. They were densely packed together, and the rays of light burned fiercely like streaks of electricity. Their precious techniques began to activate, displaying their tyrannical strength and causing this area to become unstable.
Hong!
Ear-splitting noises echoed through the air. It sounded as if immortal lightning was descending from the ninth heaven. Red streaks of light rushed into the skies, clouds and mists filling the air with electricity and flames. The Suan Ni, Demonic Ape and the Mythical Flaming Devil Bull all trembled. The ground of this mountain region ruptured, making it seems as if judgment day was drawing near.
Pu
The Demonic Ape flew out horizontally, falling down the mountains that were covered in golden divine radiance. Blood covered its body, and it was unknown just how many of its bones were broken. However, it still managed to break free from the Suan Ni’s mist.
Dong! A single step from it caused the great earth to split apart. Its demonic wings moved, stirring up a great storm. Together with heaven overflowing black mists, it rushed towards the depths of the mountains.
Not only was one of the Demonic Ape’s arms snapped off, several of its internal organs were smashed and most of its bones were broken. It needed to find a calm place to rest and recover. If it was discovered by some hostile parties before then, it would inevitably die.
Moo….
The Mythical Flaming Devil Bull shouted out, and the oppressive roar shook the entire mountain. Its entire body was covered in blood as it tried to escape with great difficulty. Fiery rays of light turned the entire sky red. It knocked over a mountain peak and treaded on lava before escaping to the mountain abyss as well.
The Suan Ni was the only one left on the scene, its entire body was covered in dazzling gold fur. It raised its head and released a great roar. Grass and various types of thorny undergrowth were pulled up from the ground into the air like a tornado. Enormous trees snapped apart and mountain boulders tumbled about. This place was completely chaotic.
The Suan Ni swept its cold gaze through the surviving powerful creatures. It released a low growl. Only now did they cry out loudly and flee in all directions as if they had been granted mercy. In the blink of an eye, everyone completely left.
