- Battle for Supremacy

The Green Scaled Eagle released a sideways glance. The chilly and intimidating scales on its body flickered with cold radiance, as if they were polished from metal. Divine splendor was being released from its eyes as it overlook the scene below.

“Aunt Green, hurry! There’s not enough time.” The little guy on the mountain peak waved his little hands while shouting loudly.

Violent winds whistled as the Green Scaled Eagle rapidly descended. When its wings spread out, it reached a length of roughly fifty or sixty meters across. Like a black fog pressing downwards, it cast a terrifying large shadow.

With a whoosh sound, Shi Hao jumped five or six meters into the air, landing on the back of the eagle. He immediately felt a hard surface. Every single one of her scales was as cold and hard as metal.

“Little guy, don’t put yourself in danger!” The village chief yelled loudly. Everything happened too quickly, and he didn’t even have time to stop him before Shi Hao jumped up.

“Grandpa Chief, don’t worry, we won’t place ourselves in danger. We are only going to take action when there is a chance.” Shi Hao waved his little hands, indicating that there was no need to worry.

“Little guy, you have to be careful! “ Shi Linghu yelled out. He knew that he couldn’t stop the little guy from going and could only loudly warn him.

“Uncle, I know. Grandpa chief, you guys go back first. This place is too dangerous. There are too many clans moving around, so it’ll be hard to find a good chance.”

The villagers became silent. This was the truth. Right now, even if all of the robust men got together, they would still be caught in the bloodbath of hundreds of crazy and vicious beasts.

“We’re leaving!” Chief Shi Yunfeng waved his hand and gave out this order. If they did not leave now, they might bring a great disaster onto themselves.

“Little guy you have to be careful!” The villagers all shouted together to warn him.

“I know, Grandpa Chief, you guys be careful too.”

The Green Scaled Eagle turned around, and then its body then departed from the mountain peak for the distance. Its speed was extremely fast, bringing about deafening winds. When these winds scrapped against one’s face, it would bring about stinging pain, making it almost impossible to open their eyes. The little guy laid flat on its back, his two little hands tightly grabbing the scales that shone with cold luster. He squinted his eyes as he watched the world below.

“Aunt Green Scaled Eagle, be careful, there are many vicious beasts down there.”

The Green Scaled Eagle was exceptionally fast. With a flap of its wings, it quickly crossed over from one mountain peak to the other. The forest below them began to collapse. Enormous trees were snapping apart. Broken branches and withered leaves flew everywhere.

Several powerful and vicious beasts were tearing at each other. There were over a hundred vicious birds beating their wings in the air as well. Nothing was left unharmed, and even the mountain boulders were crushed apart. It was absolute chaos.

The beasts roared, and the cries of birds echoed throughout the mountains. Blood splashed all over the ground, dyeing the mountains a deep red. There were many enormous beasts that collapsed. Their corpses were trampled on until they turned into bloody paste. This area was a bloody mess!

Terrifying creatures crowded together in front of the collapsed mountain, fighting madly against each other. Blood splashed several dozen feet into the air. They all pushed and shoved about, trying to dig out the enormous stones to find the Suan Ni’s corpse.

There was a striped lynx that was several meters long. The powerful creature had a horn on its head. This bloodthirsty and crazy lynx could tear apart the body of an enormous beast with a single attack. The lynx’s two claws were incomparably sharp as well. Each time cold light flashed past, there would inevitably be blood that splashed outwards.

AOOO…

An especially large Kui released a thunderous roar. Its huge body measured an enormous twenty meters, making it look like a small mountain. Its weapon were the powerful sound waves it could release, and wherever it rippled past, ferocious beasts were knocked out and blood was spilt.

Peng

An eight or nine meter long silver pangolin with a large and sharp horn on its head appeared. It was incredibly powerful, and whenever it leapt up, the mountain rock below him would collapse. It directly made its way over towards that mountain.

There were too many different species. These were powerful descendents, because if they didn’t have enough power, they wouldn’t have dared to come here. They were all intelligent races.

The huge beasts fought for supremacy. A group of tyrannical creatures violently clashed. They all wanted to obtain the Suan Ni’s corpse, because after they devoured it, it would give them the power to become the overlord of the mountain forest.

Hu!

A mighty gust of wind whistled past as the Green Scaled Eagle quickly rushed over. With both of its huge metallic claws stretched forth, it grabbed straight for the eight or nine meter long silver pangolin. The reason the Green Scaled Eagle went for this target was because the pangolin was likely to be the first to obtain the Suan Ni’s corpse. Half of its body had already been submerged within the rocky mountain.

Pu. Even though the pangolin’s skin was as hard as iron, it was still penetrated by the Green Scaled Eagle’s cold and flickering claws. Blood splashed outwards.

An angry roar rang throughout the mountains. The silver pangolin went mad. It frantically smashed its tail about, and at the same time, it bore through the pile of rocks. While standing on its hind legs, it pierced its two meter long horn towards the Green Scaled Eagle’s chest.

However, the Green Scaled Eagle was a creature that had even forced Stone Village’s people to use their ancestral artifacts. One must know that these were precious artifacts made from the kings of archaic descendants, and these treasures had been passed down from generation to generation.

Both its wings flapped in the sky, and it rose up in a flash. Of course, its two claws did not let go. It continued to hold the pangolin by its tail as it rapidly ascended into the clouds.

While this was going on, deafening winds blew about. The pangolin’s struggles were completely useless. Without the support of the ground below it, it couldn’t inflict any damage to this vicious bird.

Suddenly, after ascending to the clouds, the Green Scaled Eagle released its huge claws. The pangolin dropped rapidly from the sky like a streak of silver light.

Bang!

A miserable screech rang throughout the mountains. Soon after, smoke and dust rushed into the skies. That eight or nine meter long huge pangolin was smashed down, breaking the bones and tendons of many powerful creatures. Then, it turned into a bloody paste itself. It wasn’t powerful enough, no matter how hard its body was.

“Big aunt, you’re so strong!” The little guy gasped in admiration.

The Green Scaled Eagle dove down towards the mountain again. It was a predator at the top of the food chain in the surrounding mountain region, so it naturally looked down on these beasts.

Weng! This time, it didn’t use the strength of its physical body and instead spat out a streak of azure moonlight. There were a few differences between this attack and the little guy’s silver moon. The diameter of this beam was two meters long, and it was aimed straight at the twenty meter long Kui.

With the activation of this ancestral precious technique, the area was suddenly thrown into chaos. Many vicious birds and fierce beasts became terrified and fled towards all directions. However, there were also those that were especially ferocious. They became even more blood-thirsty, throwing themselves forward to get rid of this frightening new contender first.

Pu

The blue moon shone brilliantly. It was incomparably sharp, directly hacking off the Kui beast’s massive head. Blood rushed more than ten meters into the air. Its enormous headless body collapsed with a tremendous rumbling sound. The ground shook greatly, and blood flowed like a small river.

Meow!

A sound that made people’s head shiver sounded. It came from that huge several meter long leopard that was hiding behind a mountain boulder that was on relatively higher ground. It fiercely leapt outwards, jumping towards the Green Scaled Eagle from the back. The large black horn pierced towards the back of the Green Scaled Eagle’s head, and its sharp, half-meter long claws directly tore towards the eagle’s back.

This was a perfect ambush, and it really was about to succeed. It was likely that not even the steel-like scales could defend against these attacks, because this was after all a lynx descendant that carried the blood of an ancient beast within it.

At the same time, the sound of wings flapping could be heard. Seven or eight vicious birds descended from all directions. They all grabbed towards the Green Scaled Eagle, because they felt that it was the biggest threat. They acted together to eliminate this overlord of the sky.

A hazy light emerged, and a silver moon rose. Symbols flickered about. The lunar palace could be seen, accompanied by ancient trees. The moon disk released precious splendor, and with a weng sound, it sliced through the air. The lynx’s horn was broken, and its head was hacked apart. A miserable cry sounded as its body dropped.
