「Hey, can you two use large scale magic?」 (Izayoi)

「We can’t! Uri and Reri can’t use anything but concealment magic!」 (Uri)

This is troublesome. Do I have any other choice aside from a ridiculous amount of fighting?

Even though I had no magic to use, I began to locate someone within the horde.

There, that one is leading them.

There stood a goblin three times the size of a normal one. A Goblin King. If I take that guy down, I’ll be happy if it intimidates the other goblins into retreating. For the time being, let’s give it a go.

「I’ll be going down there to take out the Goblin King. The rest of you be on standby in the sky.」

「......Ichayoi, be alright?」 (Tear)

「Ah, it’ll be fine. If defeating the Goblin King doesn’t stop the rest of them, then we’ll have no choice but for all of us to fight them off. Until that time comes, wait here.」 (Izayoi)

「Understood! We’ll be good children and stay here!」 (Uri)

「......Take care.」 (Reri)

I hung off of Rigolo’s back and felt the wind envelop my body. As I was calculating the time to jump, Astrea suddenly called out to me.

『Izayoi! I can feel a bit of Fiere-chan’s magic! It’s near this area!』 (Astrea)

(The Wind Fairy? In a place like this?) (Izayoi)

『I’m sure she’s here, but it’s really faint. If you don’t hurry, it’ll be bad!』 (Astrea)

(Alright, got it. Search for her location.) (Izayoi)

If the Wind Fairy is here, then she’ll take priority. I continued for a short while through the wasteland. There's still time before the goblins descend on human territory.

『She’s probably that way!』 (Astrea)

「Our objective has changed. Rigolo, go the other way.」 (Izayoi)

We headed towards the indicator Astrea placed.

「This is bad! There’s a girl over there! She seems to be under attack!」 (Uri)

In front of the goblin horde was a little girl trying to run away. Even now the goblins were about attack her with their cudgels.

「*Hawawa!* I’m cornered! I’m in a pinch, a pinch!」 (Wind Fairy)

(TN: Hawawa... Go look it up.)

Her outwards appearance was that of an ordinary little girl. She didn’t have wings sprouting from her like the other fairies.

「*Hawawa, hawawawaa!* Save me! Save meeee!」 (Wind Fairy)

Fiere was running away from the goblin horde.

Although she was frantically trying to escape, she was probably at her limit, and collapsed onto the ground.

「*Hawawa, hawawaaaa......*」 (Wind Fairy → Fiere)

As she was on the verge of being swallowed up by the horde, I jumped off of Rigolo’s back and hit the ground running, and took Fiere into my arms.

Without stopping their feet, the goblins continued advancing in the same direction as before.

In regards to the speed of the goblins, there was no way for them to catch up. We were able to rescue Fiere.

「*Hawawa......* Eh? How?」 (Fiere)

「You’re fine now. Don’t worry Fiere.」 (Izayoi)

「W-who are you? ......This feeling, c-could it be? Oniichan!?」 (Fiere)
