The Gryphon, the Little Girl, and Sometimes Lilia
I awoke in the morning. It was still dark outside, but it will brighten up in half an hour.
Rolled into a ball in the corner of the living room were the peacefully sleeping girl and gryphon. There were no signs of them waking up.
The market should be getting lively soon. I guess I should go get food while they're still sleeping.
The gryphon's portion is quite substantial. The guildmaster said that the costs during these next two weeks will be paid for, so no worries there.
The day truly began as I arrived at the market.
First is the butcher's shop.
「Welcome! Get your fresh meat here～」 (Butcher)
「Do you have lots of large, inexpensive blocks of meat?」 (Izayoi)
「If that's what you're after, then we've got some wild boar. There's been less of it recently, but it's still plenty cheap. Two silver coins for one kilo.」 (Butcher)
「I'll take all the wild boar you have then.」 (Izayoi)
「Thanks for your purchase. But will you be alright? There's 20 kilograms here, you know? Can you carry it all home?」 (Butcher)

I bought 20 kilograms of meat at the butcher's shop. I'm not sure how many days it'll last. Talking a walk around the market afterwards, I purchased fruit, vegetables, fish, and various other foodstuffs.
Having bought cooking utensils and various daily necessities, I threw them into warehouse Astrea.
Finished with my business, I returned to the little girl sitting on the floor and the gryphon waiting at the house.
「We'll eat soon since you're awake. I've got a lot of things to do today.」 (Izayoi)
Day 1, taking care of the little girl and the gryphon, morning.
「*Kuke!*」 (Gryphon)
The gryphon raised a cry in satisfaction as it swallowed the pieces of meat whole. It would appear that one meal would be about three kilograms of meat. According to the little girl, that much meat was enough for one meal during the day...
Three kilograms of wild boar meat is six silver coins. That's 6000 yen. One day is 18000 yen. The daily food expense for the gryphon alone is not to be underestimated.
The little girl seemed to be in low spirits with ears drooping, while she nibbled on food like a small animal.

A name, even if you say that so suddenly... While wracking my brain for a word, the front door opened.
「Good morning.」 (Lilia)
「Alright, I've decided. Your name will be Lilia killer. Rigolo for short.」 (Izayoi)

「Why? It's thanks to you that the gryphon will have a name, you know? Shouldn't you be honored?」 (Izayoi)
「How so!? Isn't that extremely bad!? That name's a premonition of my death is it not? Please don't make a monster carry that burden!」 (Lilia)
「*Kukeke? Kukeke! Kukeke!*」 (Rigolo)
「......Seems really likes it.」 (Little Girl)
「Eh!? He likes it? Please rethink it gryphon-san!」 (Lilia)
「Good for you, Lilia. You'll never die. You can live on inside of Rigolo.」 (Izayoi)
「There's no way that's good!」 (Lilia)
