Meaning that this was naturally shed off skinHow the Basilisk, or any eon was still an unknown for me, but I knew that this monster in particular needed to sleep and eatIt was a living beingIt shedding its skin could be a sign of growth, and if not, it could just be a way to get rid of its old skin

I’ll be frank, I had no idea whether this whole sacrificial shi+ndig was going to do anything, but I also didn’t know if it’ll do so, so I’d just tryI’d justify hly dependent on the caster’s i so Shaet me results
