“Xia Ning, the sweets are good. Have a try,” Gao Wanhua said to Xia Ning with a smile.

Xia Ning looked at the pastry on the table and moved her eyebrows a little. She then said with a smile, “Thank you, Auntie!” As she spoke, she reached out with her chopsticks and was about to take one.

Enoch heard that and his expression changed at once. He pouted, ran behind Xia Ning and pulled her clothes. “Mummy, Daddy is bullying me…” he said with a wronged voice.

Xia Ning felt somewhat bad for Enoch and said to Qiao Yu, “I’ll make sure he doesn’t get too sweaty.”

“No!” Qiao Yu refused directly.

Xia Ning frowned. “Are you afraid that I can’t take care of Enoch?” He refused with such determination, she had to think like this.

“Whatever you think. No flying the kite. Read him some stories,” Qiao Yu said coldly.
