Chapter 33 - Finding Map (1/2)

Fang Chen has separated from Tian Yue for few hours now. He is following her direction to reach the caves were he could find the ores to complete his sub missions.

Also he believed that he would be able to find a part of the Map in the caves. Because the system has given him the hint that the map would be in the forst and the caves were the most suitable place for the map to be hidden.

Fang Chen continued to walk for five hours before he was able to see the outlines of the mountain and caves.

He took out the map and checked his location and found that he was in the Central Part of the inner region.

Fang Chen was shocked seeing that the number of beasts should be more as stated in the map. But he only found some low level beats which doesn't dare to approach him.

In his journey of five hours he was attacked by only three beasts but they were too low grade so he killed them easily.

Since they were low grade he didn't kept them in inventory and let other beasts eat them. The other Vestas have seen him kill other beasts so they doesn't dare to attack him.

So in remaining journey he doesn't had any troubles. After he reached the caves he didn't go to explore them.

Be waited outside for an half hour to see the situation if the beasts. He climbed up a tree and kept his focus on the caves.

He found out that the small cave were guarded by the low level beasts and they were not very deep so there was nothing to be found there.

When he focused on large caves he found that no lower grade beasts were approaching the caves.

They were moving away from it even though they were completely empty. Fang Chen was able guess that the caves of the beasts who were one step away from becoming Grade One Spirit Beasts.

Since the caves were empty he was able to tell that they should have gone to the Spiritual energy Storm.

He also saw few caves which have been collapsed and are completely closed off. He didn't even saw the footprints of the beasts near the closed caves.

After a while when he saw that nothing was wrong and no one was following him he decided that he would enter the cave.

He decided to enter the largest cave which was open. In front of the cave there was only one type of foot prints and Fang Chen knew that these prints belong only one beast which resided in this cave.

As he climbed down the tree. A beast Appraiser him but instead of attack it walked passed Fang Chen. Fang Chen relaxed a bit and then he slowly approached the cave entrance.

Fang Chen stood in front of the entrance only few feets of the cave were visible because the light couldn't travel deep inside the cave.

But Fang Chen was able to see clearly because of the perception, everything was very clear. Without any hesitation he walked inside the cave.

There was nothing inside one Stones on bones of other cultivators were spread everywhere. Fang Chen thought that he would be able to find a storage pouch but aside from bones and stone nothing was there.

With a saber in his hand he continued to go deeper and after half hour he finally found a ore. He picked it up and the system showed him its information.

After keeping it in the inventory he continued to move forward. He has been moving for more than hour and half but he couldn't find anything.

He was not happy, he started to think that his decision was choosing this cave. He should have chosen a different cave.

So he decided he would continue for an hour and if if can't find anything then he will return. But he continued to move for an hour and finally reached the end of the cave.

He sighed when he reached the end of the cave he had not thought that he would have completely explored the cave.

He sighed and turned back and as he turned he saw a glint through the corner of his eye. He stood face to the wall and sat down.

He started to dig and after a few seconds he found that the glint was am ore. He picked it up and the system showed him the information of the ore and he kept it in the inventory.

He decided to leave the cave. Because there was nothing in the cave. He only needed to find one more ore and his missions would be completed then he can go to the Spiritual energy Storm.

But if he would have gone now then he wouldn't had find an ore so he decided to checkout the end of the tunnel thoroughly.

So he used his perception to check every corner. But he couldn't see or find anything so he decided that there was nothing at the end of the cave.

But he heard a whistle. He couldn't understand where did he heard it. So he focused and found that the source of the sound the place were he dug out the ore.

He bent down and went closer to the hole he has dug. He was able to feel air coming to his face. He was shocked because he understood that there was something under the wall or behind the wall.

He dug the hole and made it large. Then he found out that it was contented to the wall on his left side. He didn't break the wall immediately because from outside the cave on the left side was closed of cave.

So no one knew what he would find after going inside. Fang Chen didn't had knowledge about the closed caves so he was hesitating.
