Vol 1 Chapter 13 (1/2)
Chapter 13: Coming of Age ceremony.
Walking to the sofa, he came to a distance where Chang Jing could reach him.
Reaching both her hands out, she ma.s.saged Qian Ye’s body nonstop as threads of Force entered his body, testing the reaction of every part of his body.
This sensation was indescribable, it was a mixture of pain and numbness, an uncomfortable feeling that was worse than whipping.
Qian Ye could only s.h.i.+ft his attention. Standing as straightly as a pen, he did not move at all, instead, his gaze roamed about and looked at every thing, and somehow, it sweeped past Chang Jing’s chest, causing him to involuntarily flinch.
Chang Jing’s bathrobe was stretched to the maximum because of her chest, from Qian ye’s position, a faint pink colour appeared in his vision thanks to her movement.
This was a sight Qian Ye had never seen before, he did not really understand what was in front of him, but he still could not control the feelings the snow white chest had invoked.
After a while, Chang Jing spoke, “Alright, I checked your situation. It seems that your Node’s injury is much worse than I thought it would be, but it’s not completely hopeless. Don’t be too rushed when you cultivate, start by getting used to the acceptable range of pain. You need at least 1.5 times more Force compared to other people to light this node.”
Only after a detailed explanation of the important points, did Chang Jing let him leave.
When he returned to his room, Qian Ye could not fall asleep at all, in his eyes was the large snow white chest swaying about. And from this night onwards, Qian Ye became consious of the difference between men and women, not just the differences he learnt from biology cla.s.s. The differences wasn’t just the statistics or the images.
However, the pain of cultivating next day immediately erased the fascinating thoughts Qian Ye’s virgin mind had.
Qian Ye had to withstand barrages of intense pain, and because of that there were times where he would almost faint. The suffering he felt was beyond human limits, and if it were to happen to a normal human, they would probably die of pain, but as a first level soldier, Qian Ye endured it.
After suffering, Qian Ye did not dare to charge in anymore. Carefully controlling his Force waves, he attacked at the places that was within his limit.
This training session was particularly torturous and when the chime sounded, Qian Ye did not even dare to believe that he had endured two hours of cultivating. But this session have him a disheartening discovery, he could feel that he needed 3 times the amount of Force to ignite this Node, not 1.5 times!
Though he could acc.u.mulate more Force thanks to this, he would take the time of lighting two Nodes to light a single node. Immediately, his cultivation speed was drastically reduced from the top few in the cla.s.s to the lower middle of the cla.s.s.
However, there was no shortcuts to cultivation, and after learning of that fact, Qian Ye accepted his reality and his heart calmed down, he was no longer in a hurry.
He would just require more time to reach the second level. There were countless humans who couldn’t even reach level two. According to the standards of Acheron camp, the lowest requirement to graduate was the second level, Qian Ye had the chance to escape this h.e.l.l.
Therefore, Qian Ye continued training both his body and mind himself as usual.
Perhaps he gained from loss or because of his concentration, Qian Ye’s training results became better. After countless painful suffering, Qian Ye’s force was much stronger and tyrannical compared to normal people. Just like that, he barely managed to keep up with the cla.s.s.
After half a year, Qian Ye’s batch completed their foundation for barehanded fighting, next would be weapon training. They learnt about various bladed weapons of all sizes and shapes.
From this day onwards, injuries appeared on many of the children’s bodies. The only surviving children were all first leveled soldiers with not only powerful bodies, but attacks that contained Force, allowing their threat to rise. A stab from one of then was no joke. Thanks to their strength, many of them suffered in battles, but because of that, they also learnt to create defenses with Force.
Only at this point did Qian Ye get to show off his extraordinary threat. Against the children who found faults with him, Qian Ye would exchange blows with them equally. Stabs and punches were nothing to his body, the pain would disappear easily without hindering his actions at all, but those that received his stabs would also suffer heavy injuries.
One of the big children that had exchanged ten stabs each with Qian Ye eventually fell accompanied by his painful screaming, but Qian Ye simply stood before him steadily with blood drenching his body without even the hand holding his weapon trembling. This kind of pain he felt was incomparable to the pain he suffered everyday during cultivation, it was nothing at all.
And after that, no one dared to find faults with Qian Ye anymore in battle cla.s.s.
That was because that big child was originally ranked fifth in terms of strength in fighting. In both strength and tactics, he scored better than Qian Ye, but in real battle, he lost. And in Acheron camp, the children here learnt to look at the outcomes above everything.
When Qian Ye was eleven, the children finally completeled the human biology course, and in return, the old man Shen Tu brought them a strange body, a corpse belonging to a meter large spider!
Only after a long time did Qian Ye know that this was not a normal spider, but a powerful branch belonging to the dark race: Man-faced spider. The creature before them was just a low leveled member of the Man-faced spider that hadn’t formed it’s human appearance and appendages, therefore, it was called a cave spider.
From that day onwards, the children came into contact with all kinds of dark races. After a year, other than the most mysterious and strongest Demons, they had met every known dark race on the dissection table, including the human-like vampire and werewolves.
