The cool and cold voice announced again while Lin Xun was still wondering about it, “Congratulations! Will you continue to do the next test?”

Lin Xun came to his sense then. Looking at the Green-cloud Path to that Gate to Heaven, he refused by shaking his head.

Spirit Refining, the first test of the Green-cloud Path, assessed one’s ability to master spiritual tattoos. After passing it smoothly, Lin Xun got Meditating Magic.

There were still eight tests left. Only by passing them all, could he arrive at the Gate to Heaven. However, Lin Xun was not sure he could pass them altogether once.

“Seeker, the next opening time of the Gate to Heaven will be three months later, and the second test is Body Refining.”

That cool and cold voice kept speaking emotionlessly, with no trace back to where it came from.

“There will be 108 opportunities to pass all tests. If you fail, the Heaven-accessing Place will be closed again and only be unlocked one thousand years later by chance. Please be well-prepared.”

Faster than Lin Xun could respond, when the voice faded away, he lost his consciousness in an immense darkness with a large boom.

There was a burst of pressing breaths coming out of Lin Xun’s cottage under the setting sun.

Like a nearly drowning man who was just salvaged, Lin Xun was saturated with cold sweat, totally exhausted.

However, his eyes were extremely bright.

Recalling what he had experienced just now, Lin Xun could not make sure that was real until he found the Meditating Magic was imprinted on his mind.

The mysterious bloody gate in his mind was the Gate to Heaven!

The occult space, the straight Green-cloud Path, and that cool and cold voice all belonged to the Heaven-accessing Place!

Now Lin Xun could affirm the Heaven-accessing Place was the secret Master Lu failed to unveil. Finally, he got a chance to defy the God and change his fate!

Thinking of that, Lin Xun was way too emotional – With his spiritual vein ripped away since young and becoming a useless person who nearly lost the chance to cultivate, Lin Xun was depressed although he was an optimistic person. It was just a long nightmare!

However, now everything changed and he found a way out!

“Thanks a lot, Master Lu.”

Taking a deep breath in, Lin Xun appreciated Master Lu in the heart. With no idea whether Master Lu was alive or not, Lin Xun felt grateful as well as sad.

Soon, Lin Xun frowned because of the stink he emitted. Only until now did he realize that his whole body was covered by a layer of filthy and dark sweat.

So he walked to the well in the yard to clean himself, after which he felt totally refreshed. Every inch of his skin was then glowing with boundless energy.

Returning to his room, Lin Xun scanned his body again and found instantly that his skin and membranes, muscles and bones, blood and flesh, as well as organs were full of vigor. His weak body was refined.

Wanting to confirm something, Lin Xun shook his fist in a bow stance. A blow of FTSH (flames to scorch the heaven) was concise but fierce enough to break the air, making a heavy boom with his mortal body!

“The strength I own is really transformed.”

Full of pleasure, Lin Xun could tell the change must have close relationship with the Heaven-accessing Place.

The road to cultivation could not be separated with the refining of body and mind. People with weak body could not make great achievement in the cultivation even they could cultivate. The reason was simple – A weak body could not hold too much spiritual energy.

Generally, practitioners would put in many efforts to refine their body at the beginning of cultivation in order to tamp the foundation.

Practitioners from a rich or powerful family would even be soaked in a liquid medicine made by various panaceas since born. After growing up, they would be taught of body refining manuals to polish membranes, bones, skins, muscles, inner organs, Qi and blood to improve and refine their body.

All this was for cultivation.

Who could be regarded as the strong?
