“No!” Chen Jun was about to release his grip on Qiao Zijin. He seemed serious about breaking up with Qiao Zijin. Qiao Zijin grabbed his hand anxiously. “I-I said that in a pique of anger. All couples will quarrel and they will talk about breaking up in a pique of anger. You have taken things too seriously. We have been together for so long. Don’t tell me that you don’t like me at all and it is solely because I am Qiao Nan’s sister?”

She really liked Chen Jun and wanted to be his wife!

“Most men don’t like women who have a bad temper.” Chen Jun did not soften his att.i.tude. “If you want me to like you, you have to behave yourself. Ever since we know each other, have you done anything for me to like you?”

Qiao Zijin was embarra.s.sed. “What do you want me to do then?”

Chen Jun raised his eyebrows and smiled. He pinched Qiao Zijin’s face. “As I have said, you have some wits about you. Right now, you don’t need to do anything for me to like you. Instead, you must act so that it will benefit us. Do you understand?”

“I have worked hard!” Otherwise, she would not have asked her mother to hint at Qiao Nan to help Wei De and Zhai Hua reconcile.

If not for Chen Jun, she would not have known about Wei De.

Chen Jun sighed. “You are too reckless regarding Wei De’s matter.” Chen Jun was aware that Qiao Zijin had her good intentions.

It was true that he told Qiao Zijin that if Wei De married Zhai Hua, it would be beneficial to them.

In the first half of this year, the information that Chen Jun provided to Qiu Chenxi helped him and Qiu Chenxi join forces to deal with Qiao Nan, causing her to barely miss her college entrance examination.

Initially, Chen Jun did not know that Wei De had been providing information to Qiu Chenxi.

Through his interactions with Qiu Chenxi, he figured out that there was another party involved in this matter.
