21 Reo (2/2)

Reo runs between the buildings with his racial skill that covers his feet of darkness. On the way, he sees a bald man with a long orange beard that reaches his chest and with a strange dress different from the one worn by the inhabitants of the Kellai tribe. Reo ignores that man, but suddenly that man shoots him a fireball! He uses his spear quickly to stop that fireball.

”Bang!!!”

His body recedes several meters from the force of the fireball. Reo looks angry at that bearded man. He understands that he cannot go to his mother's house with this man here, so he adopts a strange posture that makes him look especially threatening with his spear. He will use a special spear technique he learned from his teacher. His teacher told him that it was not a very strong technique, but that it is enough to fight against some warriors of stage 2. By the way, since he consumed that pill, he is officially in stage 2, but since he has only been able to learn 3 racial skills, his power is between stages 1 and 2.

That boy's spear approaches his chest. As he is still in the second stage, he cannot use racial skills that serve for defense, so he can only rely on his skills to dodge and attack. The flames come out of his shoulders that propel his body to move sideways and dodge that boy's spear. ”Enough!” The body of the bearded man is lit with yellow flames that cause an explosion that covers everything within a meter of flames. Reo, who was using his special spear technique with all his concentration, is pushed back several meters by the sudden explosion.

Reo is increasingly angry at being humiliated by this garbage. He should already be at his mother's house protecting her from danger. He prepares to attack again even if his body ends up hurt!

”Enough is enough, go away boy” A very thin black figure to the point that his legs and arms are so thin that they look like spear sticks, he speaks in a familiar voice. The black figure slowly comes out of Reo's shadow. This black figure is one of Onsul's clones of darkness.

”Teacher!?” Reo is surprised to hear his teacher's voice come from that incredibly thin black figure to the point that his only meal on the day for several years was a small bowl of soup. He even doubts if he can escape confident in this black thing with his teacher's voice...

The black figure says nothing and launches where the bearded man is. The bearded man raises an eyebrow when he sees that black thing coming towards him. He even wants to laugh when he sees that thing. However, his desire to laugh disappears when he sees how the black figure changes shape until it is shaped like a huge beast over 4 meters tall ”!!!?”

Reo looks incredulously at the black figure ”Too powerful!” Then he realizes that his teacher is really strong! Reo moves away from that place with his speed to the limit to go to his mother's house before something really bad happens.

”No!!!” Reo shouts with concern when he sees the street where his mother lives on fire. He runs quickly without thinking twice to his mother's house and enters. Reo looks at the surrounding area in flames, the place he has been since he has memory, everything is turning to ashes! While searching if his mother is still here or if he has already fled, he sees the back of a short man with clothes that could be said to be simple rags, a bag tied to the hip, a red spear in his right and black hair. The man seems to be watching something black that expels smoke in front of him.

Reo looks at that black thing on the floor with curiosity. His mind stops completely, his thoughts are completely frozen. He sees his mother, who is his only family, with his body burned until it is almost unrecognizable, however, it is impossible for him not to recognize his mother, even if all his skin burns to the point of becoming ashes.

The first thought after his mind froze is why his mother has a prayer posture that should not be possible to adopt due to the immense pain she had to endure! Finally, with eyes covered in tears, Reo looks at that man, although it seems to be from the Kellai tribe, it makes no sense that he is here, specifically at his mother's house, looking at his mother's charred body! Reo thinks the man definitely has something to do with his mother not running away from this burning house and being in that prayer position!

Suddenly, the man turns his body and looks at him ”Wait, this woman is...” Reo doesn't let the man finish talking. He grabs his spear with force and attacks him using all his strength without thinking of anything other than killing that man who has something to do with his mother's death!
