Chapter 46:　Amyl’s Recollection

The first time we met him is when we escaped from being chased by the orcs. The me of those days, although I could manage if it was one-on-one, the Orcs are not an opponent I could handle if 2 or more appeared. Therefore I didn’t hesitate to run away. I don’t want Lelena to encounter any dangerous experience because of me.

I am at a loss and sit down from having met an unexpected powerful enemy for what should have been a simple request, when a boy with jet-black hair looking slightly younger than me, as well as a girl of the Cat tribe about the same age as him happened to pa.s.s by.

Although his appearance doesn’t seem reliable, when I look at his status he’s Level 13 which is 5 levels higher than us. I have unintentionally called out to him in surprise. Fortunately, as they seemed to have also accept the same quest as us when we talked, we created a temporary party.

I could hardly believe my eyes when we fought together for the first time. Surprisingly, he could use both sword and magic. People would usually just concentrates just either one of those. Although there are some high level soldier that fight using some simple magic, it was way different from this guy that could skillfully use magic with no aria during battle. As for the No Aria skill, even a high level magician are not sure whether they could use it or not. Although there are many court magicians in this country, I heard the one that could use it is just one or two people at most.

After the battle with the Orcs, he acts pretty humble even though he showed that kind of ability. However, he moves in a way that makes all the surrounding party members able to fight advantageously at any time. It’s not a thing that anyone could do. I don’t have it, and it might have been an ability he was born with.

The thing I’m surprised the most is his 『Experience Value Up』 skill that I’ve never heard of before. Lelena and I have been raising our level little by little for a long time after leaving the village. I was speechless when I was able to get more experience value that what I have gathered until now in just one fight.

I can’t say that I didn’t have any ulterior motive. We thought that our luck will open out if were with this guy. Since he’s a guy that was easy to talk with, Claire who’s together with him seems to be a good girl too. Although I don’t know whether they will accept it or not, I suggest we create a party thinking he will refuse, but he easily accept it. We only met each other while pa.s.sing on the road after all. I’m glad.

However, because of my mistake I almost made everyone encounter a dangerous experience. The request that the fired up me take as it was our first quest for the new party was actually a Silver rank quest. It was a dangerous quest for the Bronze us at that time with no expectation of success. We even got tangled with a Silver rank party when i decided to return the quest immediately.

Those guys made a fool of us and tried to take the quest, but he stubbornly refuse to hand it over. On the contrary, he boldly pick a fight with them. I started to think that this guy’s heart is made of steel. And he said it like it was nothing, that there won’t be any problem if we just get stronger.

How does he have that much conviction to easily said that with his mouth. But seeing his face full of confidence,I start to think that it might be possible. We immediately went into the dungeon for training, and we’re able to reach Silver rank in just a few days. The medical herb quest before is just a small change compared to this.

The current us who have become strong could easily defeat the previously powerful Orcs, so we could defeat the previous Silver rank adventurers one-on-one. I’m a little bit scared at how I’ve become strong so easily.

When I fought against the large crowd of monsters for the urgent quest, he really stood out. The wyvern that couldn’t be dropped by neither a strong bow nor magic, he dropped them like insects one by one using explosion magic that should be unsuitable for flying enemies.When I saw that, I’m really impressed on that guy who had various ways to fight by changing his tools and technique.
