Chapter 21　Promotion

“Since we already reach the target Level, what do you want to do? Should we return like this?”

Everyone looked at each other for my question.

“I think I want to return. After all I’m worried about the quest. We may fail if we rust it at the last minute.”

“I also agree. Being too greedy is not a good thing.”

“That’s right. Although it’s a bit earlier than a week, I think we should return.”

It seems like everyone doesn’t have any problem with returning. Then let’s return to town.

There’s not much trouble happening during the return. The powerful enemy like the Dragon Fang Warrior and the dragon should not appear that many times, so from the 5th floor there’s only the small fry monsters that appeared like the slimes and goblins.

Compared to when we entered the dungeon, our strength had increased by leaps and bounds. The levels that were usually required years of raising carefully, we managed to reach Level 20 thanks to my skill. Excluding me all of us managed to more than doubled our level.

“Once we leave the dungeon, we might be able to rank up.”

Although  Amyl said that jokingly, it became a reality when we returned. When they purchased the material and monster core at the Guild’s branch office near the dungeon, it caused a little bit of an uproar.

“From what kind of monster did you get this green monster core from? …A dragon Fang Warrior!? It is said that a monster core like this is could only be from a dragon…are you guys really bronze rank!?”

The onee-san at the reception desk got a little bit excited. After confirming that we did not swindle it from other people or doing any kind of fraud, when I show the materials that we took from the dragon I defeated, they asked us to wait because they need to discuss it for a while.

“I wonder how much they’ll buy it?”

“Even just that dragon’s monster core should fetch a considerable sum.”

Amyl seems to be happy. To renew his worn out equipment, he’s going to be in trouble if he doesn’t have the money.

“Sorry to have kept you waiting.”

While we were filling our belly at the roasted meat stall, the voice of  the receptionist onee-san called for us.

First of all the monster core from the giant bat are 5 copper coins each. Cheap! Since its a small fries like the slime so I guess it can’t be helped?

Next, the monster core from the Dazzle mushrooms are also 5 copper coins…is that for real? Since Amyl’s trauma is priceless.

Next is the monster core from the two golems. Each of them cost 1 gold and 5 silver coins respectively. Considering I broke my arm as well as getting real close to death, it really fetch a good sum of money.
