Ren greeted them as he and White bear sat down.
The people from the production houses talked to him pleasantly as they acted overly familiar with him.
”I had heard that your next drama, «Heirs» is going to be released soon.”
”Yeah, there's a buzz around it. I think it will surely be a hit at the least.”
”Have you thought of any other project after that?”
A employee from a production house asked and Director Zhao replied instead of Ren.
”We are looking through some projects. I think it will be revealed soon.”
”Is that so?”
”I thought you have already chosen a project.”
It was true that Ren haven't joined any other project after «Heirs».
He still haven't decided if he wanted to do «Vagabond» or not. He had been avoiding it because of the shooting of his drama.
But he knew he have to give the answer soon.
”If you still haven't decided on a project, how about looking through this guy script?”
A director of a production house said as he elbowed the guy bedsides him.
It seems like the guy was a rookie director who was looking for production companies to produce his movie.
”I don't think Mr. Xin Ren will do his next project with a rookie director.”
”Yes, I had heard that many big director's wants him in their projects.”
”But who knows today's rookie can become a big shot tomorrow.”
It was really true. A rookie can easily become a big shot tomorrow.
Ren has seen it for himself.
He was just a rookie actor before, now he was a big actor and he had many projects to choose from.
'What do I do with «A born star»?'
Ren suddenly remembered the rookie director Ying Yue and her movie, after seeing the rookie director in front of him.
He has already fully read the screenplay of it and he was now getting sure and sure that he wanted to act in it.
But he still hadn't signed it officially because he knows that his agency would not approve of it because the movie has no investors and it would be directed by a rookie director.
He was hesitating because of that.
”I remember hearing that you will be playing the second male lead in Director Lu's movie «Vagabond», is it true?”
When someone said that while looking at Ren, a short commotion broke out.
”I don't know that. I had heard that it's a big budget movie with top quality VFX and it will be released worldwide too.”
”Yes, it's been released by various production houses.”
”Director Zhao, is it true?”
A employee said as he looked towards Director Zhao and he replied while shaking his head.
”No, although it's true that we got a proposal. We are still thinking about it. It's not being confirmed yet.”
”Really! I thought it was already confirmed.”
Ren furrowed his brows when he heard that.
He hadn't selected the movie yet, because of the CEO's request, he was going to meet with Director Lu and talk about the project.
But he didn't knew that there were rumours about how he was already cast in it.
Maybe, the team of «Vagabond» has purposely leaked it to create some hype or it was just a rumour.
Anyway, the ceremony started while Ren was thinking about that.
