Chapter -1 About going premium (1/2)

Hello, your author Killerbee here. You guys must be confused, angry or dissapointed that I am suddenly going to be going premium.

Yeah, it was a hasty decision as I was originally planning to go premium on 9 Dec, a week later but because I was in need of some money, I decided to have a talk with my content editor, Hao and go premium on 2 Dec.

I am writing this auxiliary chapter to tell the readers more about going premium and how authors like me earn there money.

Here's a short Q/A about it.

1. What is premium?

Premium basically means that the chapters of the novel will be unlocked after going premium. It means that they will cost SS or spirt stones.

2. How much one decide the cost of a chapter?

The number of spirit stones required to unlock the chapter is decided by the word count of a chapter. 200 words-1 SS and so on.

By this, you can expect my chapters to be of 6-7 SS.

3. How does an author earn?

It's a question many people don't know the answer of but an author earn with the support of his readers.

Authors' earnings come from premium chapters and donations but the main income is from premium chapters as most of the people don't donate.

101 words count as 200 words, which would amount to 0.02 USD

0.02 USD = 1 Spirit Stone

A premium chapter with 1000 words would require 5 Spirit stones to unlock, and would amount to 0.1 USD.

It means that if 10 people unlocked a chapter with 5 spirt stones, the author will earn a dollar.

You will understand that the authors doesn't earn much by this as many people don't read the novel after it goes premium.

4. Why does people don't read a novel after it goes premium?

There are many reasons to it like people don't think that a particular novel is worthy of their spirt stones or they don't have spirit stones to give to the author but the main reason is the pirated sites.
