”CEO, aren't you sick of listening to the song?”
A producer who was wearing the glasses said as he looked towards CEO Wang who was listening to The stars in the sky, nonstop.
”It's because I love it. Do I had to have a reason to like it?”
CEO Wang said as he smiled while enjoying the song. He felt that the song was really good to hear no matter how much he listens to it.
”But I thought that was a song for the youth and I don't think you are….…”
The producer stopped his words when he noticed the glare he received from CEO Wang.
That glare was saying that if he blurted out one more word, he will be dead.
That's why the producer stealthily avoided the CEO's gaze and CEO Wang said.
”I am young at heart, you know.”
”Of course, you are just like a teenager at your heart, CEO.”
The producer said as he chimed in to console the CEO and CEO Wang smiled as he said.
”Yeah, I am young at heart but don't think that you can slack off your work by praising me. Have you completed the work I have given you.”
The producer nodded and replied with a assured smile when he heard that.
”Of course, we are clear to go. We will be airing our drama after the Spring Festival.”
”What about the special episode we were discussing about?”
”Unfortunately, the general manager didn't approved of it.”
The producer said as he lowered his head air CEO Wang tapped his finger on the table as he asked.
”Why? Didn't you explained to him that it can get a high rating due to the interest in our drama.”
CEO Wang and the other producers wanted to show a behind the scenes special episode before the drama airs.
They had made that decision after thinking about it for a long time. Because the public interest is sky high currently, CEO Wang felt that it would be great to promote the drama but the channel has not agreed to their request.
”I did explained to the general manager but he said that all the slots were full and we can only do one later and that will only happen if the drama gets good ratings.”
”That crazy son of a….…”
A curse nearly sprawled out of the CEO's mouth when he heard that.
He cursed the general manager under his breath and changed the subject as he knew he can't do anything about the general manager.
”What about the Spring Festival gala event? Is Lin Ru singing in that?”
”Yes, the negotiations are done and she will be officially joining the event.”
The producer nodded with a smile as he said that.
”It's good then, it will give us some more popularity but it's really a pity that Ren can't be a part of it.”
”Yeah, but we can't do anything about this. He's already promoting the drama by appearing on music programs despite the shooting schedule.”
”Yeah, he had done enough as the male lead.”
”Well, choosing him as the male lead was a great choice. He was perfect in the shooting and many people are excited to see the drama because of him.”
”Don't forget about Xiao Rin. Although she's a debutant, she will create a big splash once the drama airs.”
”Yeah, we can't forget about her.”
”I hope the Spring Festival ends soon. I am waiting to see the public response.”
CEO Wang said as he started outside the window. He was waiting for the release for the drama with great anticipation.
