”You are looking sick, CEO Wang.”
A producer said towards CEO Wang who was slumped on the sofa with a sick expression on his face.
It was the scene of the CEO office of Arc production. Various papers and files were scattered everywhere in the office.
There were various coffee cups on the ground as if someone had forgotten to throw them out.
”What can I be if not sick. People have been losing interest in the «The stars above».”
”I think that's because most of the people knew about it and many are still waiting for the first broadcast.”
The producer said trying to soothe the CEO mind but CEO Wang just looked at him like he was an idiot as he replied.
”What do you think, will people watch a drama filled with top stars and budget or a drama which does not have star power.”
”But our drama has been verified by the network and it will at the least be a normal hit.”
”Who wants a normal hit. You know out last project badly flunked, if we didn't get a blockbuster this time, we will be in a bind in the upcoming years.”
CEO Wang said as he scoffed and the producer face became unsightly when he heard that.
They were talking like that because the interest in «The stars above» is gradually going down the controversy had especially died down.
Although they were happy that the shooting was progressing well, they wanted to divert people's attention towards them.
”What if we created another controversy like Xin Ren and Chen Mei dating?”
”It will not work as Chen Mei is rumoured to go out with many of her co stars and her agency would want to have a gentle image of her and Xin Ren agency would also not agree as he is still a rookie.”
”Damn those agencies. Then, can't we do something.”
As the producer said that, the door to the office suddenly opened and a PR Team employee entered the room.
”CEO, it looks like there was another article about «The killer» and there was a exclusive interview with the cast of «College dreams».”
”Damn! Why are you making me more angry?”
CEO Wang said with a angry face and the PR Team employee said.
”It was you CEO who told me to monitor every article about them.”
”It was me. Are you sure?”
”Yeah.”
The PR Team employee said as he nodded his head and the CEO gestured him to leave the office.
”CEO, I think you should rest for sometime.”
”Rest? How can I rest when there is a possibility that «The stars above» will be crushed down because of those two dramas.”
”Well, at the moment, we can't do anything about them.”
The producer said as he sighed. He was now getting worried about the other two dramas crushing their drama.
He was more worried as it was not a uncommon occurrence in the industry.
Many good dramas can be pushed down because of big budget dramas with top star cast.
As both the dramas they were competing with have better production houses with more connections and a better marketing team, they were more worried.
”Do you think we should create another controversy about Xin Ren?”
CEO Wang suddenly said surprising the producer.
”A controversy? We already talked about the dating controversy.”
”Not a dating controversy. Something that will have a good effect on him. Like saying that he donated all his money he received from «Secret spy» to an orphanage or something.”
”CEO, I don't think that idea will work as the media is really ruthless these days. We should not make any lies.”
