Chapter 49. Discussion
”Why are you here alone? Where's Dong Shu?”
Jiang Wan asked Ren as he entered the room and Ren answered while sipping his coffee.
”He is apparently with the writers of Whiz stars. He said that he was making some connections.”
Jiang Wan sighed as he sat down when he heard that.
”At first, I thought that he was just a normal manager. I never realised that he had that much skill. He is making connections pretty quickly.”
Ren nodded at his words. White bear was really working hard and his natural skill in socialising is helping him make many connections.
”By the way, I heard that the Whiz stars team was happy with the recording.”
”They were?”
It's already been two days since the recording had happened. It's seems like the staff of the show really liked it.
”The director of the show even told me that you were great in the second half of the show. You were better than many rookies.”
Ren smiled when he heard that. He was not good at the first half but after he had became comfortable, he was able to give some good answers and his chemistry with the other celebrities was also good.
He even received their private numbers after the show, including the MCs.
”Well, we will know after we watch the broadcast.”
”Yeah, the broadcast is next week. I hope it goes well.”
Ren sincerely hoped it to go well as his whole family would be watching the show.
It's the first time he had made a TV appearance, so his family was excited because of this.
”Chief, can you tell me what happened to the drama?”
As they were talking, Ren suddenly asked a question he was really curious about.
”Well, we actually received the screenplay from the production of «The stars above».”
”So, what happened? How was the screenplay?”
”It was good.”
Jiang Wan said as he leaned against the chair. Hearing his words, a bright smile appeared on Ren's face as he continued to listen.
”It was really good. Like you had said, the screenplay was different than the synopsis. It had a kind of different feeling to it like you can't stop reading.”
”Right, I know it was good.”
Ren continued nodding his head with a smile as he listened to his words.
”Yeah, Director Zhao even thought that it could at least gain 0.7% to 0.8% in ratings but the CEO had not approved the project yet.”
”Huh??”
Ren let out a confused voice when he heard that. Even though Director Zhao and Jiang Wan had liked the project, the CEO has not said anything about it yet.
It was a problem for him if the CEO didn't approved the project soon.
”Why haven't the CEO approved this project yet? ”
”Well, actually I don't know but Director Zhao said that he has a meeting with the CEO about it good.”
Jiang Wan said as he shrugged his soldiers.
'I hope the meeting goes well!'
Ren thought in his heart when he heard that. He was hoping that the meeting with the CEO would go well so that he could play the role he wanted to play.
