He turned and looked back at her with clear eyes. His face may have seemed heartless but he was serious.

“I will not divorce you, not now, not ever!”

Zuo Weiyi looked at him for a long time. She did not know why, but she suddenly felt very wronged.

“Why are you always so overbearing and headstrong? You never consider other people’s feelings when you do anything…” As she spoke, tears flowed down her face uncontrollably.

s.h.i.+ Yuting’s heart tightened when he saw her cry.

But no matter what she said, he still would not divorce her.

How could he bear to do that?

His eyes became a little red, but he turned around as if he didn’t want her to see him.

“Let’s go home.”

On the other end of the line, Bei Xingchen was a little concerned by her voice. “Darling.. what’s wrong?”

“Nothing.”

Bei Xingchen paused for a moment. She knew that she could not be involved in the matter between her and s.h.i.+ Yuting, so she did not continue asking.
