She replied and then walked to the bathroom. She fetched some warm water and came out to wipe Shen Lanzhi regularly.

“So, I need to wipe my mother’s body. Do you…mind leaving for a while?” She turned around and looked at Gu Yansheng.

Gu Yansheng looked at Shen Lanzhi who was lying on the bed. He then nodded at her. “Okay.”

He turned around and left the ward. He did not come back until she finished cleaning Shen Lanzhi.

As soon as he came in, he saw her giving Aunt Shen a ma.s.sage while saying something to her.

“Mother… I saw the doctor yesterday. The doctor said that the lack of nutrition in my body may cause a miscarriage. But you don’t have to worry too much.
