She was just about to go upstairs when s.h.i.+ Le came down the stairs.

She stopped and looked at s.h.i.+ Le calmly.

Seeing her return, s.h.i.+ Le stopped in his tracks and looked a little solemn.

“Yuting doesn’t feel good about what happened. Child, you… should be more understanding.”

For lunch, she simply made a bowl of noodles. In order to balance the nutrition, she added two eggs.

As she sat in front of the dining table and took a bite, she heard the sound of a car engine door from outside.

She paused and put down her bowl and chopsticks. Just as she walked to the dining room door, she saw s.h.i.+ Yuting walking in.

Their gazes met, and s.h.i.+ Yuting stopped in his tracks.

However, in less than two seconds, he s.h.i.+fted his gaze and walked straight to the second floor.

He became so unfamiliar.

After a while, he came back downstairs with a doc.u.ment in hand.
