His voice was as deep and irresistible as usual.

“Mr. s.h.i.+, an explosion suddenly happened in Zuoyue Corporation. According to the men we have a.s.signed to follow Miss Zuo, she hasn’t left the place.”

After hearing his report, s.h.i.+ Yuting immediately stopped in his tracks. The hand that was holding to his phone tightened.

“Are you sure?” He asked. His tone was visibly in disarray.

Xiang Yi fell silent for about two seconds.

Then, he slowly opened his mouth. “I’m afraid so. Our men are stationed at Zuoyue the entire time, Miss Zuo has not come out.”

As he listened to Xiang Yi’s words, s.h.i.+ Yuting’s heart squeezed painfully. The grasp on his phone tightened again as if he wanted to crush it.

There was it again. The unease and anxiety he had never experienced before, except when it came to her.

He lifted his head and took off to the parking lot.

Sitting in his black Maybach, he drove it as quick as the wind toward Zuoyue Corporation.

In the tearoom, Zuo Weiyi found a towel. She quickly covered her nose and mouth after soaking it wet, not caring if the towel was dirty.

After doing so, it was easier to breathe.

But, she was aware that this method could only help her for a while.

Fortunately, her bag was with her all this time.

She took out her phone and was prepared to call 119.

However, she did not know that as soon as the explosion occurred, the security guard had already called them. The firefighters were on their way to Zuoyue Corporation.
