”It's not what you think it was… Li Wei, she…” Wu Chen ran after Yi Fei after he dealt with Li Wei but he guessed that Yi Fei might already misunderstand them.
”You don't have to explain anything to me” Yi Fei sighed.
”Just… What are we? I don't think that there's something between us that obliged you to explain everything to me… Right?” There was a hopeful sound when she said 'right' as if she wanted him to refute her.
”Fei Fei…” Wu Chen wanted to explain more but the voice of someone, preventing him from doing so.
”What is going on here?” Bai Jing Ting approached them and he handed over a phone with a Unicorn case to Yi Fei. ”You left your phone in my car; I figured out that you might need it”
Yi Fei took her phone. ”Nothing happens. Wu Chen is about to leave. You should leave too Brother Ting. It's getting late” Yi Fei mustered a smile to Bai Jing Ting.
She looked at Wu Chen with a heavy heart. ”You should go back too. I'm tired” She left no room for discussion so both Bai Jing Ting and Wu Chen left her house.
Previously, Yi Fei switched off her phone after she took the call from Wu Chen in the fast food restaurant. She switched on her phone and found out that she had 47 missed calls and a lot of messages in her QQ.
She opened her call log. She had 43 missed calls from Wu Chen and the rest was from her friend, John. When she opened her QQ, she had a lot of messages from Wu Chen. He kept on apologizing and asking where she was. She did not bother to read the rest of the messages from Wu Chen.
She was more interested in the other person's message. She opened his messages.
JohnnyJohnJohn: Honeyyyyyyyyyyy… Faye… Fei…
JohnnyJohnJohn: I'm in City L. Let's meet up.
JohnnyJohnJohn: Shen Yi Fei, how dare you ignore me?
Yi Fei laughed when she read the messages from John. She looked at the time; it was half an hour past eleven. She searched for John's name in her contact list and pressed the call b.u.t.ton.
”Now you remember how to call me. I thought you were dead” The manly voice scolded her without even saying h.e.l.lo first.
Even though he had a manly voice that could easily seduce a lot of girls, including Yi Fei once upon a time, Yi Fei did not melt at the sound of his voice because she knew that John was not interested in a woman.
Yi Fei and John talked about a lot of things until midnight. By the time they finished talking, Yi Fei had long forgotten about Wu Chen's messages.
