-63 Chapter 53: Mistake (1/2)

After Wu Chen squeezed Yi Fei's cheek, both of them went out of the car and went up to Wu Chen's apartment.

Yi Fei went straight away to the kitchen. By now, she already knew the kitchen very well. She moved here and there with ease.

Wu Chen sat at the kitchen counter while looking at Yi Fei. He felt that her back was so familiar as he had been seeing this his whole time. He deemed that if he could fit his whole life in a picture – it would look something like the scene he was at the moment.

”What happened with the blind date you had with the police officer?” Naturally, Wu Chen was not a curious person but Yi Fei's curiosity had rubbed onto him.

”Officer Zhao was a very upright person. I cannot match to him” Yi Fei turned her back to Wu Chen.

”He keeps on talking about rules and all that. I got scared” Yi Fei went to the kitchen counter and chopped the vegetable near Wu Chen.

”You must have done something bad” Knowing how random could Yi Fei be, he concluded that she might have done something that was why she was scared of the officer.

”I didn't. Sometimes, I only forget to turn on the signal when I am turning on the road…” Yi Fei made an innocent face.

Wu Chen frowned.

”Okay. I might have jaywalked when crossing the road” Yi Fei admitted.

Wu Chen was still frowning.

”Alright, alright. Sometimes I double-parked at the side of the road when I went grocery shopping. He kept on talking about how people nowadays are so uncultured, I got turned off. Satisfied?” Yi Fei was driven into the corner by Wu Chen so she admitted her wrongdoings.

Yi Fei banished Wu Chen from the kitchen because Wu Chen kept asking her questions about her blind date. Yi Fei was the type of person who gets distracted easily when people talked to her. Wu Chen left her alone in the kitchen and went to his room to clean up himself.

Inside his room, Wu Chen fished out his phone and started typing.

He received replies after a few seconds.
