”Here's the file you asked about Director Wen Han from City L” Liu s.h.i.+ sent the file the first thing in the morning. He put the file on Wu Chen's table. He stood still and waited for the next instruction from Wu Chen.

Wu Chen took the file and did a quick reading of the information given inside the file. ”Just a small pest yet dares to approach Fei Fei and my sister”. Wu Chen snorted and put the file on the table. ”Stop all business with them. I don't do business with people like him”.

Liu s.h.i.+ was in shock. From what he learnt while he gathered the information about Wen Han, Wen Han's family, the Wen Company, had been the fixed supplier of fishes and seafood to Wu Hotel.

They never had any problem while doing business with the Wen Company yet his boss asked him to terminate all business with them. Liu s.h.i.+ felt conflicted and confused; he could not just terminate business with another party without a solid reason.

Wu Chen saw that Liu s.h.i.+ was very troubled by his instruction. ”I won't do business with someone who has questionable moral”. He did not elaborate more, making Liu s.h.i.+ felt even more confused.

”Just do what I told you to do. Prepare everything for me. Make sure you have everything ready before I departed tomorrow” Wu Chen excused Liu s.h.i.+ and did whatever work left for him to do.

When Yi Fei reached her cubicle, all the things happened the previous day was long forgotten. There were two people in the English Department who had arrived; Yi Fei and Cheng Xiao Meng. Yi Fei gave Cheng Xiao Meng a slight smile before checking her materials for teaching.

”I heard you went out with Physician Bai last Sat.u.r.day?” Cheng Xiao Meng smiled at Yi Fei while asking her a question but her smile did not reach her eyes.

”Yes, NaNa was there with us” Yi Fei always had the feeling that Cheng Xiao Meng liked Bai Jing Ting or at least, she had a crush on him. She did not want to make Cheng Xiao Meng misunderstand things between Bai Jing Ting and her. That's why she was quick to say that NaNa was also there with them.

”You do have a lot of men chasing after you. You even received a beautiful bouquet of flower yesterday” There was a hint of sarcasm in Cheng Xiao Meng's voice.

”That was from my friend's brother. He wanted to thank NaNa and me for cheering up his sister. It was nothing though” Yi Fei kept on counting the handout because she miscalculated them.

”Well, you can say whatever floats your boat but I just want to advise you. Don't lead someone on if you don't like them. That is what b.i.t.c.hes do” Yi Fei was shocked by what Cheng Xiao Meng had said. She could not fathom the reason why Cheng Xiao Meng was being so offensive towards her. She tilted her head out of habit.

Seeing that Yi Fei was making a confused expression, her anger raised. ”I'm not sure whether you are really clueless or if you are pretending not to know but it was clear that Bai Jing Ting likes…” Before Cheng Xiao Meng could finish off her sentences, Bai Jing Ting appeared near them.

”Yes, Miss Meng? I like what? What are you trying to say about me just now?” Bai Jing Ting happened to hear the conversation between Yi Fei and Cheng Xiao Meng when he entered the staffroom. He knew that Cheng Xiao Meng wanted to tell Yi Fei about his feeling.

Before Yi Fei came to Faith Middle School, Bai Jing Ting was close to Cheng Xiao Meng. He thought of her as his good friend. After he fell in love with Yi Fei, Cheng Xiao Meng confessed to him that she liked him.

Bai Jing Ting declined her kindly; saying that he saw her as a good friend. Cheng Xiao Meng asked him if he was in love with someone at that time. Bai Jing Ting did not tell her anything but he guessed that Cheng Xiao Meng must have had an idea since they were a good friend anyway.

Bai Jing Ting never liked other people to meddle in his affairs especially his love life. When he fell in love with someone, he will not tell other people about it no matter how much people pressure him because he wanted the person that he liked to be the first person he told of his feeling.

He had an idea of what Cheng Xiao Meng tried to say. That's why he stopped her right before she spilt the beans. He wanted to be the one to say it to Yi Fei; that he loves her. That he was truly, madly, and deeply in love with her.

Cheng Xiao Meng bit her lower lips before going off somewhere, leaving Bai Jing Ting and Yi Fei standing in the English Department cubicle. Bai Jing Ting put tuna sandwich and hot coffee on Yi Fei's table before he sat beside her.
