-83 Chapter 33: Jun Liu (2/2)

The woman struggled to get away from Jun Liu but Jun Liu was very strong. She gave up struggling and made a pitiful face instead. ”I'm not taking a picture of you. I was actually taking pictures of the cute kid who was sitting behind you. You can take a look at the picture if you want too”.

The woman showed him the picture. It was true that there was a kid standing on the chair behind him but the kid was standing far to his left. Meanwhile, the picture was taken with him in the centre and it was clear that the picture focused on him instead of the kid. Jun Liu looked at the woman suspiciously. The woman kept on putting a pitiful face as if she was wronged by Jun Liu. ”This is the truth. Why should I take a picture of you?”

Jun Liu let go of the woman's wrist and apologized for his behaviour. The woman walked away hurriedly from Jun Liu while giving him the stink eye. Jun Liu cannot help but think that he had seen the woman somewhere. He kept thinking whether the woman was one of the reporters who kept on bothering him when he attended many of the formal events in City K.

The afternoon would be the peak hour in City L. The traffic was congested and the airport was crowded with people. There was an old lady standing near the chairs that Jun Liu was sitting on. Seeing how old the lady was, Jun Liu called her to come over and take his seat.

Jun Liu estimated that it would take some time for his taxi driver to come and pick him up so he decided to walk around the airport so that it would not be too awkward for him to just stand in one place.

He walked randomly inside the airport just to kill time. He was quite hungry so he walked towards the mini-kiosk for local snacks near the boarding gate. From afar, he could see a couple was hugging each other and the guy planted a kiss on top of the girl's head.

He thought that the quote ”Airports see more sincere kisses than wedding halls” was true.

When the guy let go of the girl, Jun Liu could see the guy's face clearly and he was shocked. Wu Chen?

He rubbed his eyes just to make sure that he was not seeing a thing but he could still see Wu Chen. He wanted to approach his friend when he saw the woman he confronted earlier was snapping pictures of Wu Chen and the mysterious girl by using her pink phone while hiding behind a pillar. She even had a suspicious smile on her face.

Seeing the behaviour of the woman, Jun Liu was sure that the woman was a reporter. He walked towards the woman but the place was too crowded and it was hard for him to move around. He wanted to confiscate the woman's phone. He was sure that the woman must be the culprit who uploaded the recent video of a girl proposing to Wu Chen which was now viral on the internet.

While trying to get to the woman, his phone rang. His driver had arrived and waited for him in the parking lot. When Jun Liu finished the phone call, the woman was not around anymore. Jun Liu gave up looking for the woman and went out to the parking lot.

A certain woman pulled Yi Fei into the toilet so that Yi Fei could wash her red face. After was.h.i.+ng her face a few times, Yi Fei sobered up from her trance.

”NaNa, where are our drinks?” Yi Fei suddenly felt thirsty.

NaNa was was.h.i.+ng her hand. She ma.s.saged her wrist a few times. Her wrist was red. NaNa did not know how to explain to Yi Fei. Wu Chen only sent her away to have some time alone with Yi Fei.

Her eyes drifted to her red wrist and she had an idea. Taking a large breath, NaNa set herself in a melancholy mood.

”Just now when I went to buy our drinks, the queue was very long so I sat on the chair near the entrance hoping for people to dissipate. Then, there is this very handsome guy sat the opposite of me. So, I took pictures of him but I got busted because of the shutter sound. The handsome guy grabbed my wrist because he was angry. Thank G.o.d I was smart; I was able to get away from trouble. I am afraid of the guy so I did not buy any drink ar…” NaNa recounted everything in a very convincing way. Yi Fei took a pity of her.

NaNa showed her red wrist as a proof and Yi Fei gasped dramatically.

”Next time, when you want to take a picture of a handsome guy, make sure you turned off the shutter sound so that you won't get caught” Yi Fei gave NaNa a thumb up and they went out from the toilet. NaNa promised Yi Fei to show her the pictures of the handsome guy later.

NaNa was happy because she had someone who supported her antics and actually understands her obsession about a good looking guy but she was happier because she had another batch of pictures that she could use to blackmail her cousin brother.

With a 'hehe' and devious smile, NaNa followed after Yi Fei to the parking lot.

Meanwhile, inside the taxi, Jun Liu sneezed and thought that someone must have talked about him.
