Yi Fei started running from the stage to the door. The baggy s.h.i.+rt made her seem like a flapping baby chick. She looked cute.

”Brother, what are you going to be tonight?” Yi Fei asked excitedly. She knew that Wu Chen was going to be at the Staff Dinner as NaNa's partner.

”I'm going to be myself” Frankly, Wu Chen did not want to go to the dinner but NaNa kept on wailing saying how she was the only forever alone lady during the dinner because no one wanted to be her partner. She was saying all these in a very sad manner. He did not see any problem with him attending the dinner so he agreed with her.

”You should be Mamoru since NaNa is Sailor Moon. We have a big present for the best dresser” Yi Fei was blooming when she thought of the present. Wu Chen rolled his eyes and smiled.

”Argh brother, this is the first time I saw you smile so handsomely. Oh my G.o.d… my heart… my soul…” Yi Fei clutched her heart. She was overreacting again.

”So, did you fall in love with me yet?” Wu Chen decided to play along and asked spontaneously. His smile widens.

Yi Fei stopped overreacting when she heard the question. She looked at the smiling Wu Chen in front of her. Suddenly, the noise around her stopped. She saw Wu Chen smiled in slow motion.

Liu s.h.i.+ was long forgotten. As a minor side character, he stood in a few distances away from Wu Chen. He saw the exchange between the unknown lady with his boss. He was surprised to see that all the bad mood traces from his grumpy boss this morning was now gone. Now his grumpy boss had become the all-smiley boss.

Wu Chen did not realize this but from the point of view of a certain forgotten minor side character, he could see that Wu Chen looked at the lady lovingly; like someone who looked at their pet cat lovingly.
