-107 Chapter 9: First Lunch (1/2)

On a beautiful Friday morning, while Yi Fei was marking the students' essay, NaNa came to her.

”Let's go out to eat fish soup today.” Her face was hopeful.

”But we had fish soup two days ago.” Without lifting her head, Yi Fei focused on reading the essay.

”But I'm craving for fish soup from Sky Restaurant.” Refused to give up, NaNa suddenly thought of something.

”My brother will be there. He can buy us lunch and you, my sister; you can ask him all the questions I could not answer last time”. Using free food to bait Yi Fei and she took the bait, NaNa felt very accomplished.

In the afternoon, a handsome man was sitting alone at the corner of Sky Restaurant. He kept on looking at his watch when two women came to his table.

”Brother, did you wait for long?” NaNa took the seat beside Wu Chen and sat down. Yi Fei sat the opposite of NaNa.

”This is Shen Yi Fei, my housemate. Yi Fei, this is my handsome brother, Wu Chen. You can call him Brother Chen”. NaNa took the initiative to introduce them to each other.

”Mm, I know. We had already introduced ourselves last week. Right, Miss Shen?” Wu Chen gave a nonchalant shrug. From the moment both of the women entered the restaurant, shorty had this silly smile on her face. It was so foolish; he wanted to wipe the smile from her face.

”Yes ah… How are you, brother?” Still, with the smug smile, Yi Fei greeted Wu Chen politely.

After exchanging a few pleasantries, they ordered their food and ate to their hearts' content. The situation was a bit awkward, so NaNa became the mediator.

”We are going to City T this weekend. Do you want to join us? You can be the driver”. NaNa talked smoothly. Both NaNa and Yi Fei wanted to find their outfit for the staff dinner. They did not know who proposed the theme of their staff dinner but whoever suggested the theme of 'Favourite Character' deserved a raise.
