I ready my sword while glaring at Darl. To be honest, this battle is quite tough. There’s a gap between us from the moment it comes down to Darl who can already use「Sword Master」to a certain extent against me who doesn’t quite understand the「Dark Knight」occupation.

What I somewhat know is roughly just what I was taught by Hardt-sama. Me who has never even swung a sword before and, Darl who’s almost undefeated when it comes to a sword. I guess it’s quite tough but, there’s no way I can back down.

Darl mutters self-deridingly. He then shakes his head multiple times and, glared at me.

And then, Darl approaches. He nimbly slashed upwards diagonally at me from the bottom left. I block with my sword somehow but, the impact runs through my arm. Tsk, it hurts.

I was about to move after repelling Darl’s sword and, he’s already swinging his sword sideways at me. I immediately avert my body but my chest was cut shallowly. The blood that slowly but steadily spreads to my s.h.i.+rt.

Until now, I have been punched and whatnot but, when it comes to a battle that has to do with death, this is my first. My heart is beating loudly like it’s about to explode but, there’s no way I can get cold feet and back down here!

It’s no use even if I who knows nothing about a sword complain and make excuses about swordsmans.h.i.+p. I have my way of doing things.

I take out a small sack from my pocket. A relic from the past, I have always hidden a small sack with sand inside my pocket so that I can escape when I’m being chased. I throw that at Darl. However
