Chapter 22 (2/2)

Destroying the arms and confirming the strength of the grip on my legs has weakened, I shake off the arms that are gripping onto me, drive the mace into the side of the face of the zombie that approaches me and create a path.

I thought of saving Merlu-chan but, Merlu-chan who woke up has the same eyes with blood running through it as everybody. She is already being manipulated.

The brainwash will probably be undone if I defeat the robed person but, I’m outnumbered. I can’t win by myself. Though it’s frustrating, there’s no choice but to retreat. For the time being, I have to return to where Lynk and the others are.

“Do you think I’ll let you escape?”

The robed person waves his arm and, new zombies appear from the ground. Perhaps, the corpses in Merlu-chan’s story have turned into zombies?

There are about 20 of them. But, if the opponents are zombies then I won’t hold back!

“Light Magic, Lightning Spear!”

Spears made of lightning released towards the zombies. It sounds out as the zombies are pierced one by one. I can’t use it consecutively but, even so, it’s plenty to make the zombies flinch.

Leaving the mayor’s residence’s garden, I run in the middle of the town. I took a look behind me and, there’s no sign of them chasing me. As I wonder why is that so

“Didn’t I say that I won’t let you escape?”

The robed person suddenly appears before my eyes. How and why did it!? I didn’t understand. Then, the townfolks who are surrounding me before I know it. As I thought, it’s already.

My fruitless struggle was subdued within the large numbers of townfolks. And then the robed person stands before me. This person lays his hand on my head, activates magic and, my consciousness fades away.

……Lynk and the others……everybody, run……

“Creator, I’ve caught her”

“Ou, good work. But, there’s an unpleasant feeling from this fellow. What is this?”

“Fumu, it’s probably because she can use light magic. I’ve heard that since long ago, the ones who can use dark magic and the ones who can use light magic don’t get along. It’s possible that dark sorcery is the same as well”

“Heh~, well, this fellow still has her use so I shall make her do various things. However, why is she tied up like this?”

“Not a clue. One of the underlings tied it like this”

“Is it that guy’s instinct or something? It’s somewhat……tied to put emphasis on the b.r.e.a.s.t.s?”
