Chapter 39 (2/2)

Shui Miaomiao felt like weeping but had no tears. She had not even started to fan the flames of disorders, and she was already caught.

“It must be hacking. Someone has hacked the account, how is it possible that I’d sell swords on WeChat? I’ll go and check out what has happened immediately, and report it to my superior in a bit,” Shui Miaomiao said and hung up the phone. She then quickly deleted the photos and posted a statement on the page.

Shui Miaomiao pulled her hair while looking at her laptop. She was about to go crazy.

How was she going to move if she had no money?

She pondered for a moment, took the sword and its certificate, and entered Yanyan’s room.

Yanyan was doing stuff on his laptop. When he saw his mom walking into his room suddenly, he was taken aback. He quickly slammed his laptop shut. He looked at Shui Miaomiao cautiously. His eyes widened, and his cheeks were burning.

Shui Miaomiao threw the Tang saber on Yanyan’s bed. Her brows furrowed, and her eyes narrowed. She looked at Yanyan suspiciously and peeked at the laptop. “Son, were you watching porn?” she questioned.

Yanyan quickly shook his head and said, “No! Mom, I still don’t have those kinds of needs, ok?”

Shui Miaomiao pouted, lowered her eyes, “Go ahead, just watch. Having a girlfriend costs money, but watching it on a computer doesn’t cost anything. You are helping your mom cut costs, I appreciate it,” she sounded rather miserable.

Yanyan, “…”

“Mom, seriously, I was not watching porn,” Yanyan explained.

“Fine.” Shui Miaomiao gestured at the saber on the bed and said, “I’m giving you a chance to earn some money. Sell that sword. I think it is worth at least 30,000 Yuan. After that, I’ll buy you some delicious food.”

Yanyan’s heart skipped a beat, and tears started to prick his eyes. He stared at Shui Miaomiao and asked, “Mom, are you so out of funds that you need to sell that sword?”

Yanyan’s sympathetic gaze made Shui Miaomiao uncomfortable, she said, “You’re overthinking, I just didn’t like that saber. I hate it so much that I don’t wanna see it anymore. Talk to you later, look after the house. I’m going to class now.”

Shui Miaomiao turned around and closed Yanyan’s door behind her.

Yanyan looked at the Tang saber and frowned. He opened his laptop, the interface of the game, the Ancient Chivalry, appeared on his screen. He announced in the public Little Trumpet Section, “Level 85 Maiden in White for sale. Xuan Yuan sword, Kun Lun Mirror, and Nuwa Stone are already in her possession. Her pet beast is the Level 35 Bai Ze. If you are interested, please add the ID, qq278101010, to contact the seller. Contact only if you are truly interested.”
