C117 Sprinkle Salt on Food (1/2)

For the next hour, Lee Yifann kept asking questions. Cang Xuande kept answering, and the two of them were like experts in medicine, exchanging academic opinions. Occasionally, Lee Yifann would feel amazed by his unique reverse thinking.

The more Cang Xuande chatted, the more satisfied he became, because he discovered that not only had Lee Yifann spent a lot of time and effort to memorize the books, he had even tried to infer and comprehend them, and it wasn't simply memorizing them inflexibly.

He even noticed that Lee Yifann had memorized more than half of the book in just one night!

How long had it been?

Cang Xuande was once again shocked by Lee Yifann's heaven defying memory. He knew that the young man his old friend had sent him was an absolute genius!

Only after a full two hours did Lee Yifann finish asking the question. Finally, he let out a long breath and revealed a grateful expression, ”Thank you master, I have finished asking the questions temporarily.”

The gains from those two hours might have been greater than from reciting the entire book.

Cang Xuande lifted his tea and gulped down a mouthful of it. He had spent a lot of time and effort in his explanation just now, and when he stopped, he felt his mouth going dry.

Lee Yifann scratched the back of his head in embarrassment, ”Master, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked you this much.”

”It's nothing, go back to work,” Cang Xuande exhaled, feeling that his throat was much more comfortable, he waved his hand at Lee Yifann, and continued to sit on the reclining chair to rest.

Lee Yifann carried the book and turned to leave, his face full of joy.

Of course, when he turned around and saw them, he saw their vicious gazes. He returned the gaze with a faint smile as he slipped into his room.

The four of them knew that they had to intentionally show off, but they had failed completely. They had no choice but to quickly clean the courtyard before returning to the infirmary.

The door of the infirmary was opened. The entire morning, there were no patients, only two or three big cats and kittens who came to grab the medicine.

Around ten o'clock, Bao Zhiming and the other three people sat on chairs, and started to doze off in a daze.

Just as Lee Yifann had thought, the few of them got up too early, how could they not be sleepy?

Fortunately, the infirmary was relatively deserted, or else they would suffer. If it were any other large hospital, this point would be the peak of their busy life. If they were tired, there was a high chance that they would work erroneously or even have an accident.

Soon it was noon, and the few of them had gotten over their drowsiness and regained their spirits.

The infirmary provided lunch, and invited an hour's work nearby to cook, preparing a meal. As usual, Lee Yifann waited until the four of them were done with their lunch before carrying the dishes out.

”Strange, why are these guys slower than usual?” Lee Yifann realised that when the few of them went to the kitchen at the back of the infirmary, they did not come out for a long time.

They used to go into the kitchen and come out in three or four minutes at most.

But this time, they had been inside for almost ten minutes and still hadn't come out.

He wondered if they were planning to squeeze out of the kitchen after dinner.

Standing up from his chair, he was about to go into the kitchen to take a look when he saw a few people walking out. They were chatting and laughing, holding plates and chopsticks in their hands and wearing their usual smiles.

Lee Yifann frowned, he did not feel that anything was amiss, he felt that he was just thinking too much, he quickly walked into the kitchen, opened the cabinet familiarly, and took out his bowl and chopsticks.

Because there were so many people in the infirmary, in order to prevent any complications, everyone had to mark their dishes separately to prevent confusion. Even the food was calculated to avoid wastage.

Lee Yifann carried the chopsticks and bowl of food out of the kitchen and onto the table in the living room. He casually sat down to eat. However, just as he took a mouthful of the dish and stuffed it into his mouth, his expression instantly froze. His eyebrows suddenly furrowed and he quickly spat out the dish.
