23 Brain vs Brawn (1/2)

”Beat me half dead you say?”

The golden monkey king chuckled lightly as this was most definitely the dumbest reply it had ever gotten.

This had been a one sided battle where he had crushed this fool for who knows how long, and now it said it was going yo beat him?

”Creature, or should I say, you look more like a demonic human now. How are you going to do so?”

A silent breeze blew by them. Letting the golden armour of the king whisper in the air towars the black scales humanoid.

”Do you know why humans are the rulers of this world?”

'What? Did it say humans? So this thing really was one of those wretched creatures!'

The king hardened its gaze towards him a little, continuing this round of cat and mouse would mabye calm him down.

”Tell me, brat. Why are those filthy humans so strong in your eyes.”

The jagged hide covering michael began to release some sort of black smoke. As it covered the area, some sort of wind came and manipulated it to surround the entire body of the king.

The monkey smelled this weird gas, and found out it was rather unpleasant to breath in. After all, he had reached the max evolution of the [Iron hide gorilla] and was mostly proficient in defence.

The smoke now began to senter around his body, blocking the golden rays emitted by his armor.

A weak echo covered all of the now hidden surroundings, the black scaled human seemed to answer his previous question.

”Because we are the smartest..”

A weak wind blew towards him from within, seeming to charge forwards at full speed. Noticing this, it swung its arm at the incoming object, trying to crush the beast and blow away this disgusting toxic mist.

However, as the king threw his fist with all his might, the wind seemed to follow alongside his movement, circling around him more in order to not disperse. As for the pressure coming towards him, it seemed to just be a pocket of air? Where was the demon?

But as the king wished to find the abomination and dispel this dark mist, he felt a sudden shock travel through his throat.

Michael was more proficient in the air control and sulfur manipulation than his younger twin, able to bend it in any direction effortlessly.

He had used the suprise attack to shatter the more unprotected throat of the king, making him unable to use his powerful scream to send it away.

As it was not prepared for this, a chocking containing both suprise and blood followed.

”Aahh...'*cough... Do you think this will achieve anything?”

The king smashed it's golden hands togheter, trying to forcefully disperse this nastiness.

Yet, again, it only focused back around his body, now even more concentrated too.

He tried to jump away, hoping the brat would not follow. But each time he landed, the boy would be seen flying in the air with some black wings, looking down with his red eyes.

He was never able to take a rest, as Michael continuously harassed him with clusters of [Blood blocker] Spit and sometimes fully powered attacks. Finally, when he had gotten a wound enough from the relentless assult, the king found out that It would first, not heal no matter how hard he tried, but some of the surrounding smoke started to press itself into his bloodstream.

Every time he dispersed it, it came back thicker. Whenever he tried to run away, michael would always follow.

However, there was one time he charged at Michael when the smokescreen dissapeard, planning to instantly kill him. Sadly, as Michael had shrunken his body size, dodging seemed to be much more effective, as he never let the king touch him.

After doing this for 23 hours, the king finally felt some need to escape as his vision was getting a little blurry. This, and the amount of toxic gas he had breathed in would mabye spell his doom.

Too bad that when he planned to jump, Michael smashed in both his weakened knees. The golden luster dimmed as the damage accumulated.

When seeing the tired king try to run, he fully charged forwards. Although his hits didn't do to much damage, when striking the same spot three to four hundred times, it would definitely show results eventually.

The hunter was now the prey, never given a single moment of rest for the next four days.

When the fifth day came, the smoke finally disappeared. Showing the once mighty king again.

The haggard monkey now looked like the true begger. There were several cracks and dents in the dim golden armour. Some places had large black wounds with a dark liquid dripping out.

Most of his joints were bleeding heavily, as Michael would mostly focus on them.

The now broken ruler looked towards the still standing humanoid before him. It did not even seem to have grown tired after such a long fight.

”I....I admit...Defea...”

As the king was about to give up, a sudden pain came from his eye.

Michael had increased his sulfur manipulation to level 9, now able to form solid weapons of any shape or size.

He had jammed one such spike into its eyes, not planning to stop even if it admitted its loss.

”You can die when I have grown tired...”

The fomer king did not answer, only feeling another set of giant needles dig into the worn down body.

....

”Dammit, must I go fetch that guy myself?!”
