Chapter 418 - 418 Trying on the Dress for the Commercial (1/2)
Oh, I did not think about that. That would be amazing Carlos. You are seriously a world-class chef.” Liz sighs and smiles, ”we are ready to begin when you are.”
Kitty finishes off the food that was on her plate. She stands up and looks at Liz motioning for her to lead the way. ”Normally we would be going over what we would be saying for the commercial at this point in time but you haven't even given me a script and also you have not even done a costume check!” Kitty looks at Liz.
”Okay here is the deal. I need to get the photoshoot pictures down by this evening and yes I know that the commercial has not been gone through anything. I know that you have the skills to do this the way it was meant to be. I trust you.” Liz turned and smiled at Kitty. ”Katherine, the main reason you haven't had an outfit check is because the dress was beyond repair. I am sorry for not telling you the truth but even Michelle looked at it and said it was beyond repair.”
”I did what now?” Michelle goes from Kitty back to Liz, ”Oh no, you didn't tell her until today. Liz, are you kidding me? Katherine, do not worry your precious head over it. I still have that dress I designed for you and I even brought it with me because you never know what is going to happen with this crew.” Michelle took Kitty's hand and led her to Michelle's trailer.
Janet popped her head out and looked at the slightly upset Kitty. ”Oh my, Are you okay?”
”I just found out that the stage dress got ruined and that I need to wear my dress that was supposed to be for my big day. How do you think I am feeling?” Kitty looks at the two a bit distressed.
Michelle pulled out the bag and unzipped the dress. ”I know but this, unfortunately, comes with the job. You will be the talk everywhere as that dress is rare work of mine.”
”The advantages of having vampires as friends They live forever and can show you wardrobe from all over the world and from different time eras.” Kitty looks at the dress and runs her hands down the fabric. The front of the corset is white with some intricate beadwork that made pale blues flowers. It was a lace-up in the back and the bottom of the dress was ruffled in the palest of blue colours. Along the back of the dress were flowers that had been made from the fabric as the layered skirt. It had a shorter train than most dresses but it was an amazing dress.
”I will step out and allow Janet to help you get the dress on and see if it will need any adjustments.” Michelle stepped out of the trailer and looked at Liz. ”You do not need to worry all that much. I have taken care of everything for the most part. We are doing a fitting then we can take a few pictures.”
Luke looked at Michelle. What will I be changing into?” Luke was holding Charlette at the time.
”You will be testing the suit that was made for you and Charlette will be trying on a small dress that was made for her. Liz will lead you in the right direction.” Michelle said this and Liz snapped out of her funk.
