”Yes! That was his favourite line. I think most of the time he would submit his paperwork saying job done.” Daniel laughs at the memory.

Leo smirks, ”I cannot tell you the number of times that I had to pull him into the office. I would've gone after Valdis but now that he is free there is not a lot that we can do. They think that they will get away with this. They do not know what is going to happen. I will make sure that in the end, he will pay for all the bloodshed today.”

Noah nods his head, ”I thank you for everything. Do you need anything from us?”

”If you do I promise that we will come back.” Bell nodded her head.

”No, you two go. Clara needs some time with the two of you. There will be a message that will go out. You two are exempt from it. I am getting everyone to check-in. I want to see who is actually on our side. Those that show up will be tested. Those that do not check-in will have their licenses revoked. As I explained earlier. I will contact those that are all on dangerous missions.” Leo looked at the wall and could feel the essence building up faster.

Kitty looked up at him and took him into the closest office, slammed the door and kissed him on the lips. ”I am sorry, I can't control my need.”

”It is part of being a guardian. I was starting to lose control. It builds up so fast I need it gone.” Leo took out the knife and handed it to Kitty. ”Cut where you want to drink from.”

Kitty took the knife and sliced the nape of his neck and licked the essence that spilled out. She bit in and started to drink. She drank for longer than what she did with Ketan but she manages to stop herself. She licked the wound and kissed the spot.

”Better?” Leo saw her clam down and no longer felt like he was going to burst.

”Mmmmmmm, better.” Kitty opened the door and saw Ketan standing guard. ”Thank you.”

”It is all part of my job. If you want to thank me, show the humans next time.” Ketan walked away and went over to Brielle. ”How are you doing?”

”I-I am shocked but I will get over it with the right amount of time. I will have to think about things for a while. There is a lot that happened. Rex was a great mentor. I didn't know that he took another under his wing. Daniel, you are in pretty deep. Ask for help if you need it.” Brielle laid her head on Ketan's shoulder.

Leo walked out and wrapped his arm around her waist. Let's call it a day. I do not think anyone has it in ourselves to do any more work for the day. Daniel, you and Gretta will move the bodies and place them in the cooler. We will let the family members know. I will bury Asurlon's body.” He pulled out his phone but before he could make the call Gretta showed up.

”Sorry for coming unannounced but I heard the explosion for my quarters and thought that my services might be needed.” Gretta bowed and yawns.
