”You cannot come in here! This is a Medical ward and the injured patients are my responsibility.” The doctor said this without looking up at the visitors.
”I think that I know what I am doing, doctor. I wanted to heal them so that there are no lasting effects. This place already lost enough lives. Do you not think so?” Kitty stood at the door not saying anything else.
”Oh my goodness, I am so sorry. I should've looked at who was at the door before speaking. Please do what you must. I have managed to stop the bleeding but I am afraid that Berry is not coping well.” The doctor bowed to Kitty and Ketan. ”Daniel is faring better.”
”I insist that you heal Berry first. He is a good friend of mine.” Daniel looked at the Advocate and the vampire that healed a majority of his wounds.
”I can see why Daniel is doing well. I ask that everyone be quiet and Daniel your body will heat up and the broken bones will mend. It will be a bit of a painful process. I am sorry that I can't take that pain away completely.” Kitty walked over to Berry and placed her hand on his shoulder and went through the damages that were done and slowly mended everything back to the way it should be. She found an old injury and healed at the same time. Once she was down she felt the pain that he had suffered and she walked over to Daniel. She placed her hand on his shoulder and healed everything and it caused more pain on her body. She felt it, but a thousand times worse.
Ketan walked up behind Kitty and sliced his arm. ”Drink it. It will calm you down enough.” The red leaked out and taunted Kitty. ”If you waste it I will get mad at you.”
Kitty licked the essence off and bit his arm and drank the essence that was needed. She drank and finished healing Daniel and healed Ketan's wound. ”Do not think because I drink it will completely calm me down.”
”I know that but it is the only thing I can do to ease your suffering. It is painful for you to heal others. You take on their pain and you never say anything about it. You just heal and heal but this time you showed your suffering in your eyes. That is why I stepped in.” Ketan bowed to Kitty.
”Daniel you can come with us. Your injuries are healed. We will leave Berry here until he wakes up if anyone is looking for us we will be with Leo. I will leave him in your care for now.” Kitty bowed to the doctor.
The doctor bowed to her. ”I must thank you for saving them both. I am glad that neither one will pass from their injuries. I will be honest and say that I was worried but you are remarkable.”
”It is the only thing that I can do to help right now. I am unable to track the ones that did this but at the very least I can stop two people from dying.” Kitty walked to the door and stood outside. She grabbed her chest and the pain was still there.
Ketan followed her out the door and saw her but did not force matters. ”I will not do anything but know you should take more from Leo. You experienced a great loss and then healed two humans. It will of course be excruciatingly painful.”
