Chapter 395 - 395 Brielle, Kitty, and Charlette (1/2)
~Two, a mother and daughter. They need to be kept safe. If that asshole somehow managers to break free than I worry that he will go after Thompson by attacking his family.~ Leo rocks Charlette as he held the door open for Kitty.
~Consider it done. Also, congratulations on having two guardians now. If anyone will be able to help that asshole it will be you.~ Sylvie shakes her head.
~Ah, well yes. It was not like I had much of a choice. I am glad that you are still alive and well. I expect good news from you.~ Kitty closed the connection and walked out the door smiling. She went down the stairs with Leo and saw Liz.”Good afternoon, Liz!”
”Good afternoon, Katherine. We will not be able to do any work today so I was thinking that maybe in a few hours we could go to the barbecue area. If you have something that you need to do in the meantime then I will leave you two to get it done.” Liz smiles at the two.
”That is a little unexpected but if that is the case then I will go ahead and go out with Leo. We have a few things that we need to do.” Kitty looked at Charlette smiling.
”We will be gone for an hour or so. We will come back as soon as we can.” Leo held Charlette so that she was fully supported and then wrapped his other arm protectively around her waist.
Ketan walked through the door and looked at the two. ”Shall we be heading out. I set up the car seat.” He placed the carrier on the table.
Leo let Kitty go and went to the table placing Charlette in the seat. He buckles her in and places the rolled sheets to help support her neck. Then he picks up the carrier. ”Time to head to my office. We will be back as soon as everything is done.” He leads Kitty out the door and to the car.
Kitty took the carrier and clicked it in place and sat next to Charlette. ”I will sit back here with Charlette so that she does not get lonely.” Kitty sat down next to Charlette and buckled in and leaned close so that Charlette could make out her face.
Charlette looked at the face that was staring at her and she gurgled before sticking her hand in her mouth.
Leo got into the driver's seat and smiled. ”If that is what you want to do I will not stop you, love. We will have a short trip up the road.”
Ketan hopped in the back with Kitty and Charlette. ”I will sit back here as it is not good to leave these two in the back while I sit in the front.”
Leo started the car after everyone was in and drove down the street and he turned down a path and parked the car. ”Kitty, you can bring Charlette to the office. It will be funny to mess with people. Tell the receptionist that you have an appointment with me. I want to see if they will send you away. Ketan you will take me to the office.”
”Oh, I see what you are up to!” Kitty giggled and picked up the carrier. She stood on the ground and went to the alley next to the building she walked up the stairs caring Charlette in the carrier and made it to the door. She walked in and sighed in relief.
Abby saw the girl with the baby but at first, didn't register who they could be. ”Good evening! How can I help you?” and the girl next to Abby completely ignored Kitty.
