”Hack? Do you think that I would create a system that was easy to hack?” Leo looked at Rex and started clicking the keys and the process was complete. ”Okay, we need to make sure at the scanners' work.” Leo set the keyboard to the side. He pressed a spot on the wall and a scanner appeared. ”Try here, please.

Ketan appeared in the room. ”You wanted to see me?” Ketan breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that Kitty was gone.

Rex placed his thumb down and the scanner did its thing and he grabbed a small knife from inside the cupboard that came out. ”Ketan, your runes project one.”

”You cannot be serious? It does not like going back into hiding once I bring them out.” Kentan held out his hand and sighed when he saw Leo's expression. ”Will only one will do?”

”One will be perfect as we do not need to bring them all out. I will help you sedate the one that you project.” Rex was looking at the knife and waited for Ketan to summon the rune.

Ketan focusses on his hand, a red rune appears and floats above his hand. It looked like flames and Ketan closed his hand and the rune stayed on the top of his hand glowing.

”As you can see the runes are unique.” Rex took the knife and sliced open his hand but did not draw out blood. ”The purple that you see here is an essence that each living being carries inside of them.” Rex walked to Ketan and used the essence over top of the rune.

Ketan looked at Rex shocked and was about to say something but the pain from his hand caused him to be silent.

”Almost everyone has or at least form what I understand has blue, green, yellow, or red. Kitty has purple. I was not aware that there were others that had purple. Kitty told me that I will shift from blue to purple since I am connected to her directly.” Leo looked at Rex in fascination.

”I am abnormal, is what I want to say, but that would be a lie. I used to bear the life element many many moons ago. Kitty knows that I was her predecessor. That is one of the reasons that we kept in touch on and off. I know that if I sired a child that the likelihood of it being the bearer would be high. My daughter did not carry the burden so I thought that maybe everything would be fine. That was until Kitten was born.” Rex looked sad and shook his head.

”Kitty would not blame you for this. I am sure that she is listening to this through my connection with her.” Leo looked at a different scanner and pointed to it.

~You can correct, Darling. This is something that I want to hear. I know that Ketan does not know about this but Sylvie does. It is only fair that you both find out.~ Kitty walked down from her bedroom and walked to the dining room. She sat down and thought about what was going on. 'There is so much that has happened and it seems like it is only going to get more chaotic.'

Luke came into the dining room and smiled, ”you look lovely, Mother. The containers are outside filling up.” Charlette was in his arms flailing around happily.
