Chapter 270 270 Amaris and Lucifer (2/2)

Lucifer laid Kitty down and then turned to his wife. He picked her up and carried her to the couch where he exposed his neck to her. ”Drink all that you need. I was lucky that she managed to free me from the demon. I have a debt to repay to that young one and you are only sparing her for a short time.”

”Yes, I am aware that this is only a short quick fix but it will help her last until the others are ready and prepared beside it seems like our son is getting stronger.” Unable to hold back she positioned herself so that she can lean on his chest and bite the nape of his neck. She drank his blood deeply and stopped thinking about anything else.

Leo jumped up from the couch and started panicking. ”What just happened?”

”They now know the situation Ketan. What are you going to do?” Sylvie looked at the spot that Kitty had been in.

”Fuck.” Ketan let go of Brielle and disappeared trying to get where Kitty was. He stood at the edge of the forest and waited.

”Sorry, Leo. Do not panic. Kitty will come back and she will be better than when she left. Father has summoned her. It was his magic I saw. He now knows that I can not sustain Kitty anymore. I am sure that after Kitty stabilizes she will be returned or she will leave on her own.” Sylvie leaned against the wall and looked at Emerson.

Leo looked at Sylvie and tried to calm down. ”Your father took my fiance away, but what can he do to help?”

”Mother will give her the essence to tide her over. There is nothing to fear but Ketan will try to enter their place and I hope that he remembers that without permission he can not enter that place.” Sylvie looked out the window in the living room and couldn't connect with either one of them and shook her head.

”I know the connection is closed on my end as well.” Leo sat back down and glared out the window.

Luke got up and patted Leo on the shoulder, ”I will trust that what Sylvie has said is true and that Mother is safe. For now, let's look after Charlette.”

Leo nodded his head and sat there waiting for what felt like an eternity.

Kitty woke up on the table and climbed off but instead of being able to stand she collapsed on the floor.

Lucifer walked out if the hiding spot after laying Amaris on the couch. ”What right do you think that you have to come here? I warned you that if you did not choose someone that this would happen. Are you trying to escalate your sister's death?”
