Chapter 110 110 Scarlets Arrival (1/2)
Kitty watches as Leo braids her hair. 'How sweet.” She blushes, ”I didn't know that you knew how to braid hair Darling.”
”I should at least be able to do this much. I watched some videos before. After you ran away I watched the videos so that I could become good at it. I remembered how long your hair was so I wanted to be the one to tie it up for you. I will learn anything for you, my love. I'm not embarrassed over this as it is within my nature.” Leo grabbed a hairband and placed it at the end of her braid.
”Thank you, I am happy that we have each other. You didn't need to learn this but I do appreciate the jester.” Kitty got up and held onto his arm. ”Let's go down and prepare breakfast!”
Leo smiled down at her and then starts to lead her down towards the kitchen. The couple reaches the dining room and an older lady bows to Leo. ”Anna, I hope that your time off was adequate.”
Anna bowed at Leo and then looked at the girl on Leo's arm and she beamed happily. ”Master Leo, you are too kind to this old lady. You gave me my usual days off plus a few more and I get a lot of breaks as I need them. What other job would allow me to take my time in ensuring that my needs are met. My husband thanks you for allowing the extra days off this week for our anniversary vacation. May I ask who the beautiful lady beside you is?” She looks at the belly and sees the ring on Kitty's finger.
”Anna, you deserved the extra time off. Sorry the place is a lot more messier than when you left. This is my bride to be Katherine.” Leo looks down at Kitty and his eyes are full of love.
”Hello, it is good to meet you, Anna. As Leo said my name is Kathrine but you may call me Kitty.” Kitty smiles at Anna and reaches out her hand to Anna.
Anna happily shakes her hand, ”it's so good to meet you. You remind me of Luke with the ears and tail. It's very nice to meet such a beautiful girl and to find out you are going to be the madam of the household makes me, even more, prouder to work here. When are you due? Also, please let me know if there is anything that I can do for you.”
Kitty didn't hear a name but that was okay with her. ”Luke is a good kid. He will be my son for the rest of his life. I do not mind that Leo has taken him in. I have about seven weeks or so until the little one arrives.” Kitty happily rubs her belly while smiling. ”Before you ask I have not checked to see whether it will be a girl or boy. I am waiting for the day the baby will be born. My midwife is going to living here as well her name is Cindy but she is out running errands with Carlos and Luke. If I need something, I will let you know.”
Anna placed her hand on Kitty's belly. ”You're little one will be healthy. I am happy for the both of you. I cleaned up the dishes in the kitchen but I have left the flowers on the table. Also, may I clean up the petals that lead from your room to the kitchen and what would you like me to do with them?”
Leo looked at Kitty, ”you can collect the petals and place them in the box that was left in the dining room. I have an idea that might be nice for Kitty later today. John will be coming by today as well, so it might be a bit noisy.”
”That is quite alright I do not mind the bustling household. I will clean the petals up and place them in your bedroom if Kitty is not napping. You two have a good breakfast and I will get on with my work.” Anna bows to both of them.
