After the meal, she looked at Chu Lingyu, ”Can we set off now?”

Chu Lingyu had finished eating and had been waiting for her.

Chu Lingyu's line of sight paused on her Pear Vortex for two seconds before her Adam's apple unnoticeably rolled.

Xu Chencan didn't notice anything out of the ordinary and got into the car with Aunt Ling.

Chu Lingyu got on the car, and they drove towards the hospital.

As the car stopped, Xu Chencan said to Chu Lingyu and Aunt Ling, ”Goodbye.” He was about to get out of the car.

Aunt Ling quickly stopped her. ”Wait a moment.”

Xu Chencan was a little taken aback, ”What's wrong, Aunt Ling?”

Aunt Ling indicated for her to look at Chu Lingyu.

Xu Chencan looked over and saw Chu Lingyu get out of the car, striding into the hospital's main hall. Before long, he came out with a wheelchair in his hands.

Wheelchair?

Xu Chencan was dumbstruck.

What was he trying to do?

Chu Lingyu walked to the front of the car, opened the door, handed her his hand, and said: ”Come down.”

Xu Chencan was a little confused, ”This wheelchair...” Is it for me? ”

”Right.” Chu Lingyu nodded.

She thought he was a good guy because he helped her massage her ankles last night! So he was actually such a scoundrel!

Xu Chencan angrily turned his head away, ”I'm not sitting here.”

”Alright, then we don't need to take leave. Let's just go home.” Chu Lingyu pretended to turn around to return the wheelchair.

”Chu Lingyu!” Xu Chencan was flustered, ”How can you be like this?”

”ChenCan, Mister is worried that your foot is seriously injured.” Aunt Ling tried to persuade him.

Xu Chencan stopped talking, but still frowned as he fumed with anger.

”There are two choices. Either that, I'll carry you to the wheelchair and ask for leave so that you won't be removed from the list. Two, go back to work.
