Second Uncle Chu walked up to Xu Chencan and extended his hand.

However, Xu Chencan quickly dodged to the side. She had been on guard against Second Uncle Chu, afraid that he would do something too extreme.

”My demands are not that high. As long as you sign with your seal, you and this old woman will be buried with me today.” Second Uncle Chu crossed his arms and said arrogantly.

It seemed like he was completely prepared for this. Xu Chencan looked worriedly at his mother. Seeing that her expression was bad, he could only agree to stall for time.

”Alright, I can promise you that.”

Seeing that she agreed, Second Uncle Chu's smile became even wider. When he looked at his mother, it was even more disdainful.

”Old thing, you see it right? Your wife is more reliable.” Second Uncle Chu laughed presumptuously.

Chu Mu's mother looked at Xu Chencan in disbelief. She had actually agreed so easily. How could she dare to agree to something that she had been guarding for decades?

Xu Chencan saw that her mother seemed to be disappointed in her, so she rushed forward to help her. However, her mother quickly pulled back her arm.

Helpless, Xu Chencan could only continue to tell Second Uncle Chu, ”Since I've already decided to give you the item, you can let Auntie leave now, right?”

”Of course.” Second Uncle Chu nodded his head in agreement without hesitation.

”I don't agree. That is my son's, what right do you have to make such a decision?” Mother Chu yelled at her.

”You old woman, are you looking for a beating?” Second Uncle was so angry that he rolled up his sleeves and was about to hit his mother.

However, before he could even meet her, his mother's eyes rolled back in their sockets and she collapsed onto the ground.

”Auntie.” Xu ChenCan anxiously shouted out and hurried over to pay attention to her situation.

Xu Chencan had wanted her to leave as soon as she could, but she hadn't expected it to turn out like this.

However, Second Uncle didn't care about that. Seeing that his mother had fainted, he immediately ran away with his son.

”Aunt Ling.” Xu Chencan grabbed his mother and anxiously called her Aunt Ling.

Aunt Ling ran out from behind and saw her mother unconscious on the ground. She ran over and said, ”Chencan, what's going on?”

”Auntie Ling, don't worry about that for now. Hurry up and call me. Auntie won't be able to delay any longer.”

Hearing Xu Chencan's words, Aunt Ling panicked and ran over to make a phone call. She even looked in her direction from time to time.

When the call connected, Chu Lingyu also came in.

”Mom!” He ran over in a hurry. The calmness he had just felt disappeared in an instant. Xu Chencan who was standing beside him did not seem to notice. He picked up his mother and ran outside.

Seeing him lead his men out, Xu Chencan also hurriedly stood up.

However, she had been squatting for too long. When she stood up, she lost her balance and fell to the ground. She had sprained her ankle.

She couldn't care less, she endured the pain and ran towards the hospital.

When she arrived, her mother was in the hospital, saving her. Chu Lingyu was sitting on a chair, staring at the scene in front of her with an ice-cold expression.

”Ling Yu, I'm sorry.” Xu Chencan walked up to him and carefully looked at him with a pale face.

”Xu Chencan, isn't my mother nice to you? Why did you do that! ” He stood up, shaking Xu Chencan's arm as he yelled in disappointment.

”Sorry.” She softly spat out two words.

Actually, she still wanted to explain, but her feet were hurting so much that she didn't have the strength to continue speaking.
