11 Ch. 8 Opening Battle (1/2)
After finish our 3 months of holiday training, we're ready as hot as hell. Yesterday are the last day Raph-chan and the others stay at my house. Before they're going back home, they gave Luc-chan the fee that they promise to pay. They gave more than we've promising. Moreover, all of them pay a dozen of golden coins. We can't accept that much. Since they truly showed their sincerity grateful towards Luc-chan's lesson for 3 months, Luc-chan gives them a box of rare recovery potions for each one of them. He said that, it will be helpful for them if they are in a crucial situation plus, that rare recovery potion can be used on some equipment. It supports to make the equipment more resistance to some second class magic.
I have now entered the main gate of H.A.C. Students come to school normally. President Mila still arrived earlier than everyone, and she greets every student that arrived at here. Looking at President Mila, she seems different. She's kind, energetic girl, lovely, delicate and her body also great too. Well, I can say that she has an idol body which she's hot, she's taller, she has a pair of blue eyes, browns straight hair and, her breasts almost reach an F cup, her light green skin, her slim waist, it really suits her name. Forget about that, I'm now on my way to the registration counter. It seems like Raph-chan already register her name in solo battle which was displayed on the board. Layla and Seren both of them participate in the battle together with their party. Such a shame, I can't battle with them since I'm registering on a solo battle. Well, after gone registering I go to the battle stadium. Raph-chan followed me since she's waiting for me registering at the counter just now.
”Hey Raph-chan.”
”Yes?”
”Regarding the notice we got on the other day, which battle will the top ten Kamiryuu candidates participate?”
”Hmm, I'm not pretty sure too. Because from what I heard about them, they'll only participate in solo battle. While other than them, could freely choose any kind of battle.”
”Is that so?”
”By the way, according to the rule, we're not been able to challenge Kamiryuu in the first round. Because it'll be unfair for the lower rank like Yiryuu and Sanryuu rank.”
”So, how it was supposed to be?”
”The rule says that anyone who've beaten an Eiryuu rank, is qualified enough to challenge one of the Kamiryu or anyone who've been able to pass through the semi-final. That's why they set up a system that gives chances to all students.”
”So, that's mean even Yiryuu rank participator could challenge a Kamiryuu rank. There's a big difference extent between them if the Yiryuu rank manages to pass at semi-final because we never know the opponent is the same prime with Eiryuu or not.”
”That's why, we had this lvl. The school organizer will be the one who arranges our opponent according to our level.”
”How will we know who's our opponent by then?”
”I wanted to know that too, lets go to the preparation room. I'm sure they had put on the list of participation and the time.”
”Alright. But, how do they judge a party battle? If it was the same system they use on party battle, isn't it unfair for them?”
”Don't worry about that. Their system is totally various from a solo battle. They can't challenge Kamiryuu rank but they had a chance to battle with first-class Eiryuu rank part. They sure are intense opponents since they'll involve teamwork. If they manage to the final they'll be promoted according to their performance individually. The party also will be displayed on the rank board and that'll be only top twenty.”
”Ahh, I see. That's mean the Kamiryuu rank student didn't participate in any party?”
”I rather say not all of them participating in party battle, the second-class Kamiryuu usually joined the party battle. While the first-class Kamiryuu like President Mila and the others could only participating in the solo battle.”
”Interesting. We might have an opportunity to battle with the top ten Kamiryuu.” I said it with my high expectations of passion.
”I pray for that to happen. But we also might coincidently meet on the battlefield.”
”Errrr….I hope I didn't meet you since you're my best friend. Plus, you've been stronger than before. I partially don't want to lose to you either win against you. Let's pray both of us didn't meet each other. Hehehhe.”
”hmmm I'm okay with it. Because I also want to know who'll be the winner if both of us battling.”
”Whatever you say. Let's hurry up to the preparation room.”
We arrived in front of the preparation room door. I swallowed my saliva as we're getting nervous to open the door. There might be many powerful rivals. Raph-chan slowly opens the door, and we then enter the room. The room is quite massive. I can't say it looks like a room, rather this is somehow looked like a hall. Many participators are getting prepare for their match. From the left corner to the right corner, all of them are getting ready and warm themselves. I can feel their readiness for battle. Layla and the others are here too. The same goes to maniac queen. They seem to be on a meeting. Well, that anxious Raph-chan and me looking for a place where we can get ready too. We found an empty place beside president Mila. Ehhhhhhh!!!!
”Pre…pre..president Mila!!!”
”Oh, Hey there. Are you also join solo battle? Well, nice to meet you.”
”errr,…..er… yes I am joining the solo battle.” I was nervous. It's president Mila I was talking to.
Raph-chan is beside me. She's so calm and greet president Mila the top 1 Kamiryuu Rank. It seems President Mila didn't have some companions here. Is she by herself? Maybe she likes to be alone sometimes.
”Good luck with your battle soon. I hope you can show your best performance out there and be promoted.”
”Okay!” we both responded at the same time.
Then President Mila does her own things while Raph-chan and I sit on the ground and look at the list.

”Your opponent in the first round is…..”

”Mario Touga!!!!”
”Ehhh!!! Let me see.”
”You're so lucky Lylia. I am jealous of you.”
”He is one of the hottest guy in our school isn't it?”

”Of course, moreover his rank in Nanaryuu was top 5.Mario got his titled the Prince of Battle. He's not an easy opponent you see. Mario is more experienced in battling with many kinds of people. Even though he is a wolfmen. He's Hanzo's big brother you know that.”

”I see. This is perfect. I'll beat that top 5 Nanaryuu rank and hold the rank. Gonna beat the Eiryuu after that. I'm fired upppp!!!!!”
”hmmm, good luck to you. I just want to remind you, Mario is not an easy type of fighter. His strength is incredible too.”
”Anyway, who's this creepy guy called Batiste Zenon?”
”He's Zet Zenon little brother.”
”Ehhh, Zet? You mean the top 3 Kamiryuu , Zet?”
”Yes!”
”Whoa, he might be strong.”
”Nope…I could win against him easily. You see he is just a newbie in Nanaryu rank. I'll take that rank for sure in the first round since my last match with you still remained me a Goryuu rank.”
”Ehh? You still remember that heheheh. Anyways, you're pretty convinced about that.”
”Of course. I've watched his match before. He still needs some tough training. He plays the tank fighter role. His specialty is his hardened body. I can say it is hard as the platinum steel. But, when it comes to speed he's no match for me. I'll find out his weakness soon in the match.”
”Whoa, you sound like you already know about your opponent Raph-chan. That's amazing. That's why I don't want to meet you in this battle.”

While we are still waiting, an announcement was reported. They said the first participate will have to be ready on the battle trek before the match started. While the second participator will wait for their turn in some corner which is near to the battlefield enter way. The first participant has been announced, and they already enter the battlefield. My turn in this match is still far as it was number 67 out of 110. Raph-chan will have her match in the 10th after the 1st match. She's so lucky she can battle earlier. 30 minutes have passed, and they announce the arrival of the students and teachers and invite them to enter the stadium. Their applause and their excitement of the Rank Event tournament already filled up the stadium and the battlefield.
They're now inviting the H.A.C participator of the tournament to show up on the battlefield as the opening of the competition. Apparently, it means us. We were invited to show up on the battlefield. Raph-chan and I feel excited as we walk together with the other participant. President Mila looks calmed and always shows a gentle smile on her face. We're now at the wide battlefield where we are in the audience eye. A total of 9,345 students attended our competition.Whoa, this is a thrilling scene. Many eyes will stare at the battle later I guess. As usual, this is not my first time joining this rank event. I have participated in this rank event 2 times. Guess what, I win the matches and that's when I got promoted to Goryuu rank.
But this year is a little different, participators are now available to challenge the Kamiryuu. But not for Yiryuu, Sanryu,Goryuu or even Nanaryuu. The Kamiryuu only accept challenge by Eiryuu. After the master ceremony gives a few speeches of the opening, without wasting time he displays the rule as the magic screen appears in the middle of the battle field.
RULE
I] THE MATCH WILL ONLY START WHEN THE PARTICIPANT Receives A SIGNAL TO START.
II] PARTICIPANTS WHO ARRIVE LATE IN THE BATTLEFIELD WITHIN 3 MINUTES WILL BE COUNT AS DISQUALIFIED. THE PARTICIPANT WHO IS IN THE BATTLEFIELD WILL ENTER NEXT ROUND WITHOUT BATTLING IN THE FIRST ROUND AS IT HAS BEEN COUNTED AS WINNER.
III] ANY VIOLENT ACTION THAT COULD KILL A PARTICIPANT OR THE AUDIENCE WILL BE STOP IMMEDIATELY.
IV] PARTICIPANT WHO HAD LOST TWO TIMES WILL BE NOT ENTERING THE NEXT ROUND.
V] CHALLENGE ON KAMIRYUU STUDENT ONLY GIVEN TO THOSE WHO HAD DEFEAT AN EIRYUU OR THE EIRYUU RANK CAN DIRECTLY CHALLENGE THEM.
VI] PARTICIPANTS CAN'T GET ANY HELP ACTION FROM THE AUDIENCE OR ANYTHING THAT AGAINST THE RULE OF H.A.C .
VII] WINNER OF THE TOURNAMENT BETWEEN KAMIRYUU AND OTHER LEAGUE ARE SEPARATED.
VIII] PARTICIPANT CAN SURRENDER THE MATCH IF THEY DON'T WANT TO CONTINUE THE MATCH.
X] THERE WILL BE ONLY ONE WINNER IN EVERY MATCH.
XI] BREAK THE RULES AND YOU WILL GET EXPELLED.
Woohoo, that's our usual rule. There's a new change of the rule over there. It is not like before. It's great after all. We might meet each other in the next round or not, it all depends on fate. Then, the screen disappears as all the participants are already boosted. We go back to the preparation room and get prepared. I was nervous even though my match is still far away. Actually, I'm nervous for the first match. Before I forgot, the battle field was divided into 6 blocks. Three of them are for the solo match while the other three are for party match. I believe that Seren and Layla already warm up their body on the other side. Now, what I'm nervous about is the first match. It is Reus-kun versus Oga Tatsuya. This is a battle between mages. Feel a long time not seeing Reus-kun since the holiday. I guess I'll greet Reus-kun after this match.
On the battlefield, the two participants are already waiting for the match started as they stretch up their bodies. I'm so exciting and the same goes for Raph-chan. They are both now on a wide and flat field. A calm breeze and relaxing atmosphere for Reus and Oga. The audience's eyes are on them. The atmosphere of the stadium became louder as they saw the status displayed on the screen
”Heehh, it's been a long time I see Reus-kun. He must be really strong now. I could see by his eyes. Reus-kun become more confident now hehehe.” Raph-chan said.
”Yea, I think so too. He always gets scared every time he entered the match. But I'm astonished that he really enter this solo tournament by himself. He sure changed a lot.” i replied.
”Whuuu, can't wait to see their battle.” Said Raph-chan who's really excited.
”But Raph-chan, Oga-kun is our senior right?”
”Yes, Reus-kun might have a difficult time dealing with him.” Explained Raph-chan.
”Hmm, I heard that he was once joined the Red Cerberus team before. It's a Reingard Hero Capital Army organization. But, not anymore. Maybe he quit from the team because they're not adopted a student joining them.”
”Ehh? Whoa, I thought it was just a rumor.”
”Well, I think we should just focus on the match.”
