” Is she mocking with us?” asked Hanzo to Seren and Raph-chan who was healing Seren's wound.
” She's making fun of us maybe?” Seren asked out of wonder.
”Nope, she's serious to fight the three of us. I knew her because we're close friends. This is her serious mode when she was motivated by something. ” Raph-chan said this with a serious expression to her teammate.
”Whatttt!!! So she hadn't..” Seren was just about to finish her words but Raph-chan interrupt her.
” Lady Seren!!! Hanzo-san !!! We should attack her once and for all. We need to give our best because I don't want to lose this match without something worth it.” Raph really serious about this.
”Whattt??!!!!, I ... I know what to do, you don't have to order me too.... So, if that is what she wants from us, let us give it our all”
”YES!!!” seems like they're also get motivated huh.
I take a stick that I found on the ground and decided to use it. When I saw the stick, I finally understood what's Luc-chan meaning of his words he told me yesterday. Weapon is not the only thing you need to prepare, but a strong mind and heart. He just randomly said to read the opponent's movement, actually, I just need to feel and think how if I was in the position of a hero. Luc-chan really teach me a skill that required to defeat a hero.
My prediction was true after all, they'll attack me at the same time from three different positions. Somehow it makes my heart a little ease, when I am the only one they're targeting. If it is not, it will be harder to protect those two. Luc-chan you're really such a brilliant pervert demon.(meanwhile, Luc-chan at home was sneezed out of wonder while he was watering the plant). When this happens, the teachers and students are also motivated to watch our match and the others cheered out louder than before. To me, an epic scene is about to begin. 3 vs 1.
Eventually the three of them move at the same time, and I stand still my readily-fighting-pose. No one will figure out who'll be the first one to counter me. After a few seconds, Raph-chan chanted a wind spell that created a spear, and then she threw it towards me. I know that when I move a little to the side, one of them had already started to get close to me and make a contact. That's what makes this more interesting. The whole battlefield just felt the real match. I wanted to use Luc-chan's mana but I think I'll use my own.
I leaps and bounds to the air. This is just like my training with Luc-chan, but he was faster than Seren's team movement. Ehh wait a minute, isn't this is the same meaning that I have already moved faster than my opponent? Or are they getting slower?. Somehow my body reacts to what I saw and by letting my body reacts as it is a natural move. I was able to avoid Seren's striking slash that supposed to hit me. When I am stepping on the ground I kneel as lower as I could because I know Hanzo was too closed to me that time. He could blink faster to everywhere but I realize he is often blinking to the right side.
Without hesitation, I put some of my mana into the stick and swing it on the right side of me when Hanzo was blinked. It really works and Hanzo was hit by it then thrown to Seren body. It is an accident that Hanzo was blown to her and the exhausted mana of Raph-chan can't do anything besides using her left mana in a close combat. This is where the right timing and my plan was actually effectively carried out. The three of them are now nearer to each other. They run charging aggressively towards me. It is a wonderful view as Hanzo uses his mana to make him more protection,Raph-chan uses her left mana on her hand to take her hand as an offensive shield and Seren forces herself to use her AMON RAGE.
With only a stick on my right hand, I bravely take the risk by charging towards three of them. I used the lesson I got from Luc-chan. They're actually didn't have any protection anymore. All of them fight like there's no tomorrow, fight like there's a hope in front of them and fight to the best they can. I also wanted to show those feeling towards them and not to let them down. Everyone was so anxious and never blink an eye on our match. It really is an honorable battle you know. All of them are yelling out to support us who was on the battlefield.
I take and put the stick like I was showing them a pose of taking-out-a-sword pose. When the three of them nearly enough, they also shout to their best. I teleport myself behind them and now I was in the air , it is just a short teleporting because it's one of the skills I mastered. They were stunned by my action, I was completely lost from their sight and now I'm completely behind them. They couldn't do anything at the time. It's too late even to take a breath was too late.
” [DEATH BACK STEP]” CINGGG!!!!!!!
I finally succeed beating them once and for all in just one slash. I really used the weird name that Luc-chan gave to that combo skill. It was really a big helpful when it comes to this kind of situation. Luckily, that skills only need a little amount of mana, so I didn't exhaust of mana but only suffered little physical damage. Then the teacher announces that the match is over. Because Seren's team can't even move a muscle anymore. I am happily running to Reus and Layla. Layla just wake up, and she was shocked that we win this match.
” So does this mean, we pass the exam??” asked Layla
” Yes,of course,” I said happily
We're all too happy and walk out together to the restroom from the battlefield. The crowd really is something that annoys me. They're screamed too loud but positively, they must be amazed by the battle that we just had right. While in the restroom the paramedic is bringing Seren's team to the treatment room to be healed. But Layla interrupts them and uses the healing spell to heal Serena,Raph-chan and Hanzo-san wound. They realize that Layla was the one who heals them. Then the paramedic leaves them to rest themselves. Now we are in a treatment room. We were all chatting and relaxing. Some are sitting on the floor and chairs, some are in bed.
Well, the room is well-equipped with treats and many books on magic. Not bad huh. I think other students are still watching other group battle outside. It's a shame I couldn't watch them because I'm under treatment now ahhahah.
”Thank you again. You've helped me two times and I didn't know how to reply to your kindness. I am very thankful ” Hanzo said it while embarrassing himself for what he has done.
”No, it is my sincerity to heal all of you. Furthermore, that was an amazing match. All of you're really strong, I'm looking forward to being a friend with you guys.” Said the kind and gentle Layla
”err.....ermmm .....errmm” Seren was about to say something to me but..
”Hey, maniac queen? Are sick? Why did you cough? I asked instead.
” woii, I'm not sick you jun....no, you Bastard Lylia!!!! ” She was just about to say junks didn't she? Maybe she's just poor girl that lack of love hmm hmmm
” Well, Seren! You're good out there! Nanaryu was actually too strong. You can become a great Paladin someday! Hihi.” I said it for real. She really is stronger than any girl out there.
” Is that so...you too bastard Lylia!!! Don't you dare to lose to someone other than me in the future” Seems like a Seren become friendly towards me and the others after the match.
”Hey could you not adding the 'bastard' thing behind my name? You can just call me Lia if you like” I said that as we're now being friends.
”ahahhaha” all of us laughed happily.
We're having a great conversation with them and we acknowledge their power too. We talked about our game and our experience.And that's the end of our day. The result will be announced tomorrow, and we're getting the permission to go home already. All of us walk home together and I really want to go home quickly. Because Luc-chan promise me that today's dinner is special. When I got home from afar it's weird. Luc-chan isn't in front of the door like he always does. I feel a little sad. He should welcome me like a winner or like a princess maybe. Hmmm. Then I take off my shoes and put them in the shoe rack. Then...
” I'm home.....” I shouted.
----------------------. Luc-chan didn't answer like he always does. Hmmm I think maybe he was ready preparing my special food hihihih
”I'm home!!!!” I shouted even louder again. But there's no answer.
I guess I have to enter myself. This is odd. Usually, Luc-chan always been here when I need him but not today? Does anything happen to him? Then I open the door to enter and there's a popping sound,many delicious food prepared on the table,lights turn on dramatically and the room was decorated for a birthday party. Luc-chan inside the living wore the t-shirts that I once made it for him even it looks ugly but...
” HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYLIA” said Luc-chan with his smiling face. I was really..... really surprised and sooooooooo happy that I couldn't describe. This is the first time Luc-chan ever surprises me by doing like this. Usually he will let me know about my birthday every year but not this year. I didn't know there're tears falling from my eyes.
”Ehhhh? Lylia? You don't like this? if you don't want this I'll quickly throw all of this in just a second.” Luc-chan feels worried about me who cries in happiness.
Furthermore, only Luc-chan and I live in the house, and he always remembered my birthday. He is the only one who never forgets it. I'm so grateful to have him. Really...
”tha....than.....thank you ...Lu..Luc-channn” I hug Luc-chan tightly and cry on his chest.
No wonder he is nice to me this morning. Luc-chan then cuddles me back, and he accompanied me this night in my room together to celebrate my birthday today. I tell him all the things that happened in my match and what I feel, and we talk until I fall asleep.... Last but not the least, I wish to have Luc-chan as my special person in my life.
